Sat down without any service for 20 mins. I waiter was designated for the entire outdoor section and he had no time for us. He would come over and get annoyed at waiting for us to ask questions about the meal. We left without eating.

I had there margarita pizza and loved it! They told me before I ordered that it would take about 20 minutes in case I had a layover. Therefore, may not be the best choice if you are rushed for time. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is I have only been there once so don’t know about consistency.

I had a bad experience, Friday evening around 7:15PM. The hostess asked me before I was seated, if I had 45 minutes before my flight. I said yes and was seated at my table. The waiter took my order for a salad and main course. The salad arrived after 40 minutes and then the waiter asked me what I had ordered for main course. I repeated the order and he said it will take a few minutes. I waited several minutes but nothing came, so after an hour and 15 minutes I politely asked for the check, paid and left. Not a pleasant experience.

I ordered the Prosciutto Arugula pizza here and it was delicious. My 2 friends both ordered the Orchiette Pasta and they enjoyed it as well. The service was slow, which is unexpected, since most people are on a time constraint when they fine at the airport. We had to chase down the waiter a few times. That’s my only complaint. The price was was $ 22 each after tip, which isn’t bad considering the fact that airport prices are usually higher. I will dine here again.

Food is very delicious. However customer service is terrible. We ordered 3 glasses of water 3 times and no one brought us. We finally had to asked a waiter, as I remember his name was Ilir, the fouth time and he still ignored us, then turned back and threw his bad attitude to us. He placed those 3 glasses of water impolitely and asked us «is that good enough» ?! is that the way they trained customer service to their employees???

It’s what you’d expect from airport dining. Just meh. But I took it because what else was I to do during my layover, and I couldn’t possibly eat another Kind bar. That was my life that long day of traveling. Protein, vegetables! My stomach was calling for that. I wanted real food. Sadly, didn’t get the quality I was hoping for here. I had the Caesar salad, which was intermixed with wilted and pale romaine. It was also overloaded with grated parmesan in addition to shavings of parm. I would have preferred just the shavings. I also had the chicken parm pizza. The crust was bland, sauce was ok, and it was topped with diced chicken fingers. The texture of the chicken was chewy and the breading wasn’t crispy as I had hoped for. It mirrored a pizza that you’d through together at home with leftovers from the fridge. Service was speedy, but the experience was less than stellar.

Getting to eat breakfast at Aeronuova is one of the many pleasures of flying Jetblue or Hawaiian Airlines out of JFK. In the past we’ve ordered eggs, pancakes, and bagels with salmon, but this time we went for 2 Greek Yogurt Sundaes and 2 breakfast Quesadillas(one without bacon). Everything arrived promptly and was quite tasty. I do note that though we asked if the yogurt was plain(it is) it arrived with an unannounced bit of honey on top — so next time we’ll know to order without. And though there is plenty of fruit there are no nuts — you’ll have to bring your own. Lastly, we’ve learned that the secret of eating at Aeronuova is to be completely unsubtle about flagging down the waiter and getting the check. They are quick to take your order and quick to deliver the food but have ignoring you thereafter down to a fine art.

The food here was mediocre at best. I order the home run dish which included eggs any style, French toast, choice of meat, biscuit, and home fries. The eggs and sausage were the saving grace to this meal. The biscuit was burnt, dry, and crumbly– the trifecta of sinful baking. The home fries were undercooked and lacked seasoning. The French toast was decent but they served it with Kraft syrup in w sauce packet… If I’m paying $ 14 for this meal at an upscale restaurant with real flowers as a centerpiece, I was seriously hoping for better food. The nail in the coffin was the service. I was approached three times in 5 minutes if I knew what I wanted to order. It’s 6:30AM and no one is around– what was the rush? I asked for water and waited 20 minutes. In that time I asked another waitress for water and she couldn’t deliver either. The waitress had a bad attitude(ok I get that it’s really early!) and just threw the check book onto my table without a word. Pretty on the outside, disappointing experience. I wish I would’ve taken my $ 20 and had put it towards a McDonald’s mcmuffin and an OJ.

I ordered $ 14.50 French Toast and out it comes with Kraft Pancake syrup. Corn syrup and sugar. Yeck. I tied a bite. It’s disgusting. It’s just liquid sugar. I won’t eat it. How can a restaurant charge these prices and not provide real syrup? And the waitress didn’t say a word when she took my plate with only one bite missing. Oh, she did say«happy Thanksgiving.»

Great Italian cuisine at the airport. Delicious food but they could serve warm garlic bread with their pasta to make it even better. We had to ask for bread and it was cold, stale and disappointing.

Surprisingly good food considering it was made in an airport food service kitchen that is likely shared with the steakhouse and Spanish tapas bar next door. The cavatelli pasta was properly cooked, had perhaps too much tomato cream sauce, used the odd choice of smoked mozzarella, and the best part — had plenty of large soft chunks of ground fennel sausage. It did not taste like the ingredients had been prepared too far in advance like most restaurants. Served in a full-sized entrée bowl, it was a lot of food for a decent $ 16. The menu had many Italian wines by the glass to ease any pre-flight jitters. It was a good place to kill time while waiting for a flight because there was very little crowd noise and no terminal PA messages. The table setting with a metal fork and plastic knife seemed odd at first until the sad reality of security sets in. This restaurant is located past security screening at the central marketplace in JetBlue’s Terminal 5.

Came through JFK with enough time to sit down and eat dinner. It had been a long trip from SFO and I needed something more than a walk up sandwich station. Aeronuova seemed to fit the bill and it did. I ended up running into one of my coworkers who just flew in on the same flight. Even though I had already ordered, they quickly added a place setting for her and took her order as well. I enjoyed my pizza, but I think I was too tired to notice anything particularly special about it. It was good for airport food though. Unfortunately, they forgot my side order of meatballs. By the time I realized, we already had our entrée’s. I assumed she forgot to put in the order on my ticket, but when the bill came it was listed on there. At that point, we had already been there a while and it was time for me to board my next flight. Instead, I had to have the correction made for the missing food and the other thing was that the waitress didn’t even know they never came out. Really? It’s airport food so the expectation isn’t high. The food was decent enough for a return trip, but I would likely just head back to the giant Cibo station.

With plenty of time before my next flight, and having survived solely on granola bars for almost twelve hours, I needed real sustenance. I have seriously bad karma when it comes to airport food, so I hemmed and hawed about where I should go. I was torn between Aeronuova, the nearby Deep Blue(sushi), or the adjacent La Vie(French café). So I asked myself: if I could only eat something out of a can right now, what would it be?(Yes, I realize that’s a horribly low bar to set… but, again, this is airport food we’re talking about, so I think it was a fair question). My gut reaction?: Chef Boyardee ravioli(weird, but a craving is a craving, ayuh?). So I chose Aeronuova. The best parts were the: a) my unexpected dinner companion(hearts to you, my friend) b) service c) speed The not-so-bene parts were the: a) service b) speed, and because of that… c) food My mate ordered a pizza and some meatballs. The pizza looked alright(lies: I was actually lusting after his choice because it seemed so much better than my own… all that cheese and crispy dough), however they entirely forgot his meatballs(yes, they still put it on his check, my friend asked them to remove it, they did, issue resolved). I ordered the ravioli. My server couldn’t remember what I had ordered and had to come back to ask me. When I got my food, seven pasty looking ravioli in soupy tomato sauce(read: broth) arrived. Sorry, guys, but the ravioli seemed frozen. The corners of each pasta square had that weird hard, yet gommy texture. Blech. Also… $ 3 for a seltzer water?! WHATISTHAT?! The lesson here? Don’t ask yourself what you would eat out of a can. Just grab some fruit and cheese from one of the c-store type places and hunker down at your gate with a good movie and impromptu picnic.

While waiting in my favorite terminal in the world, my flight was delayed so I grabbed dinner at Aeronuova. And aside from the douchy waiter, it was good. I kept it simple and choose the pepperoni pizza. It was good. Tasted like the pizzas at Blaze. The highlight of my meal was watching my waiter completely ignore an older woman who was dining by herself and give all his attention to a table of barely legal girls. The woman wanted her bill and this douchebag would scurry by her table and just hold up his hand that he’d be there in a second. But he never did. He was too busy getting water and whatever else the table of jailbait asked for. I finally had to yell at him because I was ready for my check also at this time. I then told him that the woman next to me had also asked for her’s several times. He finally brought our checks. Not sure if the rest of the staff is like this guy but it does affect my impression of a restaurant even if the food is good.

How many times do you head to the airport only to find zero options and out of the few that are there you end up buying a $ 20 microwaved burger? Always. Not the case here and at JetBlue’s Terminal 5. A glass of decent wine will run you $ 8 – 9 and the food is good to boot. Plenty of options here and I recommend you sit back and relax here while waiting to fly away.

Delicious food and decently priced for an airport restaurant. I had a 4 hour layover in JFK and decided to grab a bite to eat. After being in Morocco and eating Moroccan food for 2 weeks, I decided I wanted some Italian food. I got the bucatini with clams and was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. The sauce was flavorful and they were generous with the portions of clam and sausage. The sausage was a little hard and the bucatini was a little thick for my taste but it was still a great dish overall. I didn’t have any troubles with the service. They took care of me and were prompt. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone flying through terminal 5 at JFK. Have at least an hour before your flight because my pasta did take about 15 minutes to come out.

Before a long travel back to SF, I knew I needed something to carry me for the 6 hour flight I had coming. As I walked around the Jet blue terminal, the host encouraged me to eat at this restaurant. No questions asked, just come and join us, so I did. I got suckered. Surprisingly, it was decently priced with a delicious meal for an airport restaurant. Con: the only down fall was the service. Maybe they were short staffed due to the holidays or they just weren’t that good. I had to ask the waitress twice for lemon for my water and she never really stopped by to see how we were doing. When we needed to pay the bill to catch our flight and we mentioned that to her, she took her time. Just for taste: 1. Bucatini and clams: Very delicious! Be sure to stir the noodles very well before you eat. The sauce settles to the bottom and you wouldn’t want to miss it smothered on your noodles with every bite. They were very friendly with the clams, more than expected. Best decision I made for the night. Overall: if you have some time, grab a bite to eat here!

The Service: Great customer service! Our server knows we are early for our flight, no rush & let us stay & wait for our boarding time. Food is served fast. Our drinks are constantly refilled. :D The Food: Chicken parmesan panini — $ 12 for just a small panini? Wish there is a side salad or fries. Trivialized Salad — big portion! Simple salad but very filling. Nice restaurant inside the terminal. Not the typical fast food places.

GREATAIRPORTSIT-DOWNRESTO On the way north to Vermont via JetBlue we stopped in here for a Pepperoni Pizza and a Rigatoni Bolognese and, I must say, both were delicious. This was a delightful break from a busy schedule. In fact, we liked it so much, we stopped in again on the way home for a Rabe & Sausage Pizza and a Caesar Salad. Wonderful. Food — 4STARS Ambiance/Décor — 4STARS Service — 5STARS Noise Level — high!
