Specializing in rock/​pop I offer individual voice lessons to adults and kids. My approach is similar to and based on the work I do as a vocal instructor for Girls (and Ladies) Rock Camp Boston. I use a recording studio, song/​project based approach while working within any of the rock, pop, folk, country and R&B genres that interest and suit you, where together we work to determine and meet your vocal goals. Through the recording process you will learn breathing and vocal techniques in a fun, relaxed atmosphere in my lovely JP home recording studio. Preparing for a live performance we can add stage and mic techniques and learn ways of dealing with stage-​fright.

New: I host «Monday’s my Friday», a residency at the Midway Café the third Monday of every month, which gives my students the opportunity to perform in a very supportive atmosphere. This is an option for the adult students who feel ready to show off their new skills.

History

Established in 2012.

After years of touring and recording I took a long break from music to start a family and then as the kids grew, slowly ease back in by volunteering as a vocal, guitar and bass instructor for Girls Rock Camp and Ladies Rock Camp Boston. Working with the girls and women for rock camp was and is amazing and life changing. I loved it so much that at the end of last year I decided to open up my home recording studio full-​time for private lessons. I am so honored to be able to use my skills and experience to help kids and adults do what they love and learn while doing it. I am beyond grateful!
