Walking through the South End dressed as Richard Simmons the morning after Halloween — priceless.
If you’re someone who needs to pinch those pennies for cheap imported Chinese goods or just looking to find random pieces of flair for your next party — you can’t go wrong with the 99 cent shop in JP.
Sure there might be a line as long as the grocery store before a blizzard or hurricane — but you really can’t beat the prices on junk you never plan on using again. After all I spent about 30 dollars on a wig from The Garment District in Cambridge which is now probably being mistaken for a dead rat on a curb in Chinatown.
