Tools For A Time

This place has great customer service. They have to have hundreds of regular customers and they still greet you by name! The sales and service staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to the equipment that they carry. I had my hedge trimmer serviced at a different place two different times and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Five minutes at TFAT and they showed me exactly what was wrong with it. A few days later the new part was ordered/​installed and the hedge trimmer was back to work. That was a couple years ago and haven’t had a problem since. I have literally spent thousands of dollars at this place and continue to do so because of their service, although it is the farthest shop from my house. They also have the longest Saturday hours for those that can’t get to them during the weekdays.

This shop has premium, top level landscaping equipment that the average Joe can purchase. Blowers, edger’s and macked out mowers all can be purchased at this location. Everything here was way out of MY price range, but for a budding landscaping entrepreneur… this place would be a great place to go to get completely set up. They actually have small business equipment packages set up for just that purpose. As an entrepreneur myself, I think prepackaging business equipment for the beginning business person is a great idea.
Tools for a Time also puts on a mean party! We went to this location where they had blocked off a large part of the parking area for live music, free hot dogs and drinks. They had a raffle where they actually gave away a whole business package worth of lawn equipment (easily $ 7,000 worth of equip). They had other relate vendors there and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office had the racing police car and SWAT vehicles there for everyone to hop in and peruse! We had signed up for their mailing list on their website and received an invite to this neat little venue.
Most importantly the sales staff here is very, very knowledgeable and really friendly which I always appreciate. Tools for a Time also does rentals if you have the need for some really high end equipment for that weekend project.
