All items are baked fresh to order and custom decorated to coordinate with you party theme/​colors. Delivery and set up available for all of Jacksonville, NC, Camp Lejeune, and surrounding areas.

History

Established in 2007.

In February of 2015, love brought me to Jacksonville, NC. It was a bittersweet move, because it meant closing up my beloved cupcake business, Roxie’s Cupcakes. For seven years, Roxie’s Cupcakes served the Hampton Roads, VA area and upheld a strong reputation for the output of quality products and services.

Instead of simply transferring Roxie’s to NC, I decided it was time to freshen things up and broaden my horizons. The Blustering Baker was born.

It is my passion to make people happy through food, and I look forward to sweetening up your next special event!

Laura Z is the mastermind behind The Blustering Baker, a creative-​driven, cupcake & dessert catering company with a devotion to producing delicious, custom-​made desserts. New to the Jacksonville, NC area, Laura is looking forward to growing and building a reputation for irresistible confections and excellent customer service.

She is continuously adding to her menu, drawing from her eclectic tastes and passion for all things sweet.

On a typical day, Laura can be found rocking out to 80’s music while baking up a storm in her licensed & inspected home kitchen. It is her passion to make people happy through food and because of her incredibly loyal customers; she is able to do this every day.
