Have a dog that is fearful or anxious? Marge also works extensively with fearful and anxious dogs. She uses methods recommended by veterinarians who specialize in animal behavior.

Business Owner

Marge is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer — Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-​KA), one of a handful of trainers in Jacksonville to attain this professional certification. To attain this credential, Marge passed an independently administered comprehensive exam on learning theory, ethology (study of behavior), animal husbandry, instruction skills, equipment, business practices and ethics. The CPDT-​KA designation is a national certification provided by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). This designation is the gold standard for dog trainers.

Experience matters, but experience alone isn’t enough. Experience combined with modern, humane training methods, knowledge, continuing education, skill, and the ability to communicate effectively means successful training. Marge has over a thousand hours training dogs and their people. But what sets her apart is her combination of skills in developing both dogs and the human end of the leash.
