Earthworks

Waited two weeks for an appointment for Jason to come to my home for a design consultation (have an e-​mail confirmation of the date and time); he was a no-​show. When I called to find out what happened, I was given a bunch of ridiculous excuses, then an apology and a promise that someone would call back and then come out. Never heard from them again. Some business. Huge waste of time.

I have dealt with earth works for a few years and always was very satisfied. Recently i had them clean my outdoor fish pond and after much urging frm them install a uv light. Unfortunatly it quit working shortly after being installed by them. After contacting Doug and Jason they very quickly replaced the light. I met with them on monday and they said it would be done on Tuesday. I was not suprised that they came out monday afternoon to do the work.
Nice to deal with a company that stands behind their products and does what they say that they will do.

I have been a customer of earthworks for approximately 2 years, everything was great until this year. My beautiful lawn started off this year with a bad start. I called Earth Works to complain how bad my lawn looked and requested that they send someone out to look at my lawn. After multiple attempts to get a response finally the fertilization manager responded to my calls. He came out and looked at my front lawn. He said it was because of my neighbor across the street that caused my lawn to look bad??? any how he promised to make it better. well the first lawn treatment didn’t do much but cause the dollar weeds to become ramped throughout sections of my front yard, the back yard was fine. I started to call MANY MANY MANY times to try and get someone to come out and treat the dollar weeds. Finally after I complained to a point where I made management angry they sent someone out to spray these weeds. well the result of the spray killed a lot of my grass. Again the calls started to Earth works to come out and correct the problem they caused, final someone came out and fertilized the front yard, it helped but I still had craters of dead grass. Again I called numerous times to request that new sod be put down in one area that there was no grass. Finally one of the owners came out stoned face, I showed him where the problem was, he said i’ll bring out a couple pieces of sod to correct the problem. He then said I want to terminate our relationship because he was not making money from me because of the retreatment of my lawn. It was his companies fault he didn’t do the job he should have done that caused the retreatment. By the way he never came back and corrected the problem he promised to fix. I intend to write this report in many places in hope that people will understand what the fertilization part of earth works is poor!!!

Terrible service. Bought a large Palm tree that they say is warranty for a year. They NEVER answer calls or VM. Our tree is WELL TAKEN CARE OF and we followed all instructions after they install. Our Palm is YELLOW!
Have a close friend who paid lots of money for pavers and landscaping. Again a year warranty. They have had loads of problems with trees and such that were installed. EW tells them they are coming to take care of the issues, many times, and they NEVER SHOW UP!

My favorite place to shop for all of my outside gardening therapy!!! I have been going there for years and love the staff and all of the wonderful garden plants, pots and accessories.
I purchased 5 beautiful, healthy Koi from there last year. It is the only place I will buy my Koi from.
If you love to work in your yard, Earthworks is a must to go to!

I love going to Earthworks. It’s always a treat to go and browse through their display of ponds, waterfalls, plants, etc… About a year ago, hubby and I decided to finally work on the mess of a yard we’ve neglected. We’ve done a lot of work to clear out the front yard and when it came time to ‘design’ what we wanted, we drafted a sketch and went to Earthworks to talk to someone about it. We love their consulting service. We explain what we wanted and what plants, water features etc. We wanted to do most of it ourselves as a project we work together, but really love the advice and suggestion given to us by Jason.
Since then, we’ve installed our pond and have purchased all sorts of plants, including an incredibly beautiful Japanese maple from Earthworks. Our yard project is still in progress, and we’ve both been enjoying our new yard so much. This past weekend, we just went back to Earthworks and got a yard display and another koi for our pond. Then I realized that as much as we love Earthworks and the numerous times we’ve visited them, I’ve never written a review to praise their products and services. Well, here it is, about 8 months late and well deserved. We will be back soon.

Outstanding staff and products.

EarthWorks is an adventure in gardening. When I moved to Jacksonville three years ago, I found this nursery. Even though I didn’t have a house at the time, I would enjoy my walks through their ponds and plants. I was fortunate enough at that time to meet Jason, «The Pond Guy». He was great to talk to and I told him one day I would have a pond and waterfall. I am sure he hears this a lot.
Finally this past week, three years later, Jason and his «Pond Guys» installed my courtyard with incredible landscaping, a waterfall and a pond. It is absolutely incredible. These guys were dependable, kept things clean and also took the time to answer my endless questions.
They do an excellent job and I am so pleased. Thanks for a job well done.
