Atlantic Warriors Wing Chun Gung Fu provides the highest-​quality training of authentic Ip Man lineage Wing Chun in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is the ONLY full-​time Wing Chun Kung Fu school in the North Florida, and South Georgia area!

In addition to Wing Chun, Atlantic Warriors specializes in Women’s Self-​Defense seminars at local businesses, associations, or groups.

To supplement the «empty-​hand» curriculum, Atlantic Warriors provides practical and effective weapons training in its special Arnis/​Escrima classes. These weekly, ongoing classes provide training in the use of the stick, knife, tactical flashlight, and tactical pen for personal protection. Sifu Petree is a certified level 3 instructor in Arnis.

Sifu Petree is also the only authorized representative of Michael Janich’s Martial Blade Concepts in the state of Florida and teaches the MBC/​CBC class each Saturday morning from 11:30am-12:30pm.

Established in 2002.

Twelve years ago, after much study, trial, training, and necessity, Sifu Jonathan Petree founded Atlantic Warriors Wing Chun Gung Fu in Jacksonville, Florida. His mission is to teach Wing Chun as a science of self-​preservation to help the community become a safer place. In addition, Jonathan prefers to take a «one student at-​a-​time» approach to training. Simply put, students learn, comprehend and advance much better when the student is receiving energy directly from his instructor. As such, even in public group classes, students receive individual attention from Sifu Petree.

With 20 years of Wing Chun training, Sifu Jonathan Petree is the most tenured and senior Wing Chun student of Sifu Bill Graves, and also a private student of Sifu Karl Godwin. Atlantic Warriors has been officially recognized as an authentic representative of the Leung Sheung lineage, Sifu Leung Sheung was Ip Man’s very first student in Hong Kong. Atlantic Warriors has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Sifu Jonathan Petree has 23 years experience in the martial arts coupled with real world experience. Although he has trained thousands of students from all walks of life, he believes in giving individualized attention to each student so they can become the very best they can. Sifu Petree is the founder of Atlantic Warriors, as well as, being a lineage holder in the Worldwide Leung Sheung Lineage Association. The late Sifu Leung Sheung was Ip Man’s first Hong Kong student. For his contributions to the Martial Arts, Sifu Petree is a four time inductee into the Hall of Honor, and a two time inductee into the Hall of Recognition.
