Picasso specializes in hair color by Wella, haircuts, hair straitening, beautiful hair styling for every day or for special events. We also offer relaxing and deep tissue massages, facials, skin care, waxing (including Brazilians), makeup applications and sales, eyelash extensions by NovaLash, manicures, pedicures and airbrush tanning.

The Picasso team also can help you organize your special evens. We have experience with bridal parties, birthday parties for ladies and young girls. We make it special, relaxing and fun for you and your group.

History

Established in 2008.

Picasso Day Spa & Salon was founded by David Manaute in 2008 with the close assistance of the top hair stylist in the area, Laura Rosenblum. The idea was to open a salon that offered top quality services in a beautiful setting.

After looking for several months for the perfect location in the St. Augustine area the nicest building in Jax Beach came available. It was a longer drive to the location but we could not pass the opportunity.

The remodel of the building only took two months and when finished we received compliments from the City and every one that previewed it. The décor was inspired from the upscale European stores from Spain and Italy.

The Salon was named Picasso because the David is from the same city than Pablo Picasso and he wanted to pay tribute to his favorite artist. Not only the name was adopted but also the décor includes works by Picasso which were replicas painted by Patricia Barry, local artist.
