I took some boots to get new heels. When I was waiting I found another pair of boots that I tried on and really liked but they were a higher ticket item and I wanted to think about it. Fast forward about 8 weeks, which granted is a while, but I finally had the time to make a purchase so I called to inquire if they still had the boots and asked if I could purchase them over the phone. The girl was so snotty. She «informed me,» in her completely irritated tone, that «they» had already gone to the warehouse and she’d check on it and get back to me. Needless to say I never received a call back. I cannot tell you how completely discourteous her tone was with me from start to finish of the conversation. I will not spend another dollar in this store. I ordered the boots on line and the business lost out on the money, over $ 100. What a shame for a local business in a small town to treat their customers in this manner. I would definitely not recommend them.

I was passing thru Jackson and decided to stop at Swensen’s. I was surprised to see the extensive line of fine work boots they had in store. I met one of the Managers, I think she might have been the owner! and I must say I have travel far and extensive to some of the finest stores in the country and this store is by far one of the best.
The store was busy, but what made me give this store 5 Stars is that she was a very attentive and knowledgeable. I will be back to buy my Redwing boots before the holiday and while I’m miles aways from this store I would travel to give them my business because they care a rarity in the shoe business world. Very impressed!

When we got there and my daughter was looking around, I talked to the salesman working there and he was very friendly. We talked about the old store vs the new store about the holidays coming up. He was very nice. I got my daughter a pair of Vans that were black with flowers, that the guy working there and I dubbed «like grandmas couch.» Which I guess is cool now. :) Anyways, my daughter loved them. We accidentally received too big of a size and didn’t notice until the next morning. The next day the sales lady helped us with the exchange and she was very nice about letting us exchange them quickly with no fuss (we had our receipt). It is hard living up country and finding good quality shoes for the kids that are still «cool,» but I know we can find them there. We will be back.

Used to have a pretty friendly, cool sales staff. Now, when you ask a question they almost seem resentful to be pulled away from whatever it is they were doing in the back of the store.

Used to be a great long time family run store. They sold and the new family is missing the mark. Been in a few times and seems like they are bothered if you ask for help.

we have taken our boots and had them repaired they do a fantastic job and are very reasonable and timely, the store is neat and have a range of prices, for great customer service and great products and repairs this is a place to go
