Snow King Resort

For quality of this hotel it is very over priced ! I understand it’s Jackson and everything is expensive but for $ 400 (room + parking + resort fee) it’s ridiculous! Our room could use some serious updating, faucets were very old and wobbly on sink the shower had a mind of its own, would have it set at temp would like it then all it sudden it was scolding hot or freezing cold ! (extremely hard to run a child’s bath when you don’t know what the water is going to do !) our hot water fixture looked like a couple more turns and it’d fall off, was pretty rusty. The old brick wall, was pretty dirty and so were the floors. Our beds were decently comfortable and we had an okay view off our deck over looking the pool. Pool was good, hot tube felt good Minus the Drunks who were sitting there, they had empty beer cans set up all around like it was a recycling area (they seriously had probably 30 beers sitting there).
Biggest problem we had was there was literally nothing else in the hotel, even the «snack area» had a few candies and little bag of chips and some drinks. We weren’t expecting a whole lot but Even offering cup of Ramen or soup for the late night munchies would of been nice.
And I feel like spending that much on a room should get you some kind of discount to the Alpine slide, cowboy coaster, etc we spent another $ 350 just there getting us to ride and the pictures ! (definitely recommend trying if you have any money left after this expensive hotel !)

Meh, everything in Jackson is overpriced — so it is here. Rooms are slightly better than a Holiday Inn. Comfy beds and nice view (if you get a room with one). For 300+ bucks anywhere else you’d probably get a great room, not so much here but not many other options.

I know Jackson is expensive, but this hotel is just way too expensive for how run down it is. My shower had overly dirty grout, the faucets leaked, the windows and walls are thin, the wood tops on all of the furniture are aged beyond repair, the fire pits by the pool are wrecked by overly loud and terrible music (it’s not a Vegas day club), the resort and parking fees ($ 40 in total) are the punchline to a bad joke.
Bottom line… only stay here is your company pays for it.

Great hotel, and fair priced! The restaurant had really good food and an amazing signature cocktail called, «The IPC.» Yum!
Shuttle was a great amenity– we will be back!

Watch out for hidden fees! You will be charged for parking! Breakfast is Not included.

Great location on edge of town with beautiful views. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Front staff most cheerful and helpful. Bed sheets the softest I have ever exxperienced! Got a special rate but after $ 50 pet fee, $ 30 resort fee, $ 10 parking fee and taxes, our rate more than doubled. Just saying. Bring your wallet to this beautiful town!

The loud construction going on outside is not the only issue with this place. The place is definitely dated but not necessarily dirty. Room service does not exist and the restaurant is way overpriced. Whenever you inquire about the free shuttle service, you either get an annoyed look from the front desk staff or «the driver is at the airport» standard answer. Our room was not automatically cleaned and we had to inform the front desk of our overflowing trash and need for more coffee/​water. The wifi is average at best and the pool was out of commission for a portion of our week-​long stay, which begs the question– «what’s with the $ 30 resort fee?». Also, no robes are available. Overall, it just seemed that their website offered a whole bunch of «promises» that they did not intend to keep once you arrived. I would stay elsewhere in Jackson so you can walk to the downtown area and have choices without feeling like you’re causing unnecessary hardship to the staff.

3.5 stars is what I would give this hotel if it was an option. I don’t have anything bad to say and would stay here again– good product for value. My first impression was w a very rude wedding crowd at the bar the first night (not hotels fault). The bartenders were great tho (as were the wings). The rooms are average size (throw a couple big suitcases and skis in the mix and it gets kinda small). Negatives– no fridge in room, Our shower leaked and our tv reception wasn’t good– none were deal breakers. Room was cleaned great every night, sheets and bedding were nice too. Front desk folks were very nice and helpful. There is a hot tub but it was packed most the time.
Also there is a ski rental place inside hotel which is super convenient. I ended up buying my demos here too.

*******BE AWARE!!! The housekeeper was scrubbing the toilet wearing latex gloves and changed my bed sheets without taking off her gloves. I am actually in the process of reporting it. Who knows how many rooms she continued to clean that day. This place is not hygienic!!!

This is a decent hotel, with clean rooms and a great location next to the ski hill. It’s about a 5 minute can ride to downtown, so the location is great!
The rooms are smaller, and are getting dated. The rooms need an upgrade, they are just ok. The housekeeping was also slow, cleaning rooms up until 4 – 5 pm each day.
The rates are reasonable, I was there for a conference on Valentine’s Day weekend and the rates were around $ 175 a night… not bad for the area.
The ski hill is right out of the back door. Skiers were tromping down the stairs and right out onto the hill. Great location!
The bar/​restaurant was nice, newly remodeled, with excellent service.
They have a pool and a pool deck, which looks like fun in the summer.
Other than the rooms being older, my other concern was that there was a lot of ice and snow in the parking lot and on the sidewalks, and we told the front desk several times… to no avail. This could be quite dangerous, so watch your step.
It’s a fine hotel if you want to ski and have some drinks… great location. Just know the rooms are older/​dated.

In generell a good resort. But there are some big buts. Rooms are good for the price you pay (100 $) a night. But the restaurant is way to expensive and the food mediocre. There is also a resort fee of 30 $ each night for?? What for??? For the total price per Night you will find a better one in town.

Nestled at the edge of the Bridger-​Teton National Forest and the base of Snow King Mountain, Snow King Resort is located near historic downtown Jackson. The rustic resort is located near two of America’s most beloved national parks — Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. The resort is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. It offers traditional western ambiance, inspired campfire cuisine and a great location. As you can see from my pics spacious and stylish accommodations are provided.
When I arrived early around 2pm I was able to smoothly check into my room 451, which only cost $ 117 or $ 138 with all fees because I was here for a conference on business.
I was pleased with the location of my room on the 4^th floor with a view overlooking the outdoor pool and hot tub. The only downside to my view was some building construction going on below the view of my window.
Parking is complimentary. My early morning check-​out was also efficient. They also provide shuttle service to and from the airport.

I know it’s cliché to say, but is there anything less than one star? This place is a complete dive. First of all, we had our place booked for a while in a king room and when we arrive they tell us that they have sold out because they overbooked and we have been «upgraded» to a condominium which initially soundedpretty good. When we got over there we realize that we had been placed in an apartment that looked like it was temporary housing for the refugees from Syria. and to think that you’re paying $ 350 a night for this place. After I went back to talk to them, they said that they found one more room and we could be placed in a queen room which was at least better and closer to what we are looking for, especially because the pictures online showed very nice sinks and modern rooms etc. on the other hand, two of the sinks were dripping and had rust as a result, and another faucet was missing its handle, there are a couple of empty beer cans in various places around the room. there was tons of hair around the room also. The more common areas were fairly nice however so if you were only looking for a room in which to store your items and don’t plan on really being awake while you’re in the room, then this is probably the place for you. Otherwise, I would look into staying somewhere else. I might also suggest looking for an available space downtown in a vacant building. oh, and I almost forgot the «breakfast buffet». It’s more of a regular breakfast for which we sat down and after 10 – 15 minutes, still had not been served so we walked away. We had been given little vouchers for the breakfast buffet and even though it was free, still walked away because it was probably up to the quality of everything else in that dive.

We had planned a week long, summertime, family trip to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, and we were searching for a reasonably price hotel that was located in or close to Jackson Hole, that was nice/​resort-​like, and that had some amenities like a pool, restaurant, etc. After a lot of research and hotel pricing for area hotels, we decided on the Snow King Resort. We checked in on a Monday, and our room was ready well before the stated check-​in time. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and more than eager to meet our simple requests. Not only did we get an early check-​in time, but we got a room on an upper floor, that had a balcony, and a distant, but rather nice view of the Tetons. We were also traveling with another party, and they were able to place them in a room close to ours. Upon check in, we also requested additional towels for the room (there were 4 of us), and they were provided kindly and without delay. The room was very, very nice. The hotel is an older property, but it is clean, updated, and had a few minor projects going on both inside and out, but they were not disruptive to our stay. The room was very quiet, especially when you were tired from being in a park all day. You can tell that the place is well maintained, and kept modern, and comfortable. The room was very clean and updated. Nothing was broken or malfunctioning. It was a pleasant blend of luxurious and rustic. The bathroom was an average size and very clean. The room was a typical size room. The TV was a flat screen with some cable channels, and the beds were clean and comfortable. What more do you need? The lobby was cozy with lounging areas and a large fireplace. The pool, although we did not use it, was very tempting, almost spa like, and the restaurant (Hayden’s Post), was very good for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is a little further than we cared to walk to get into the town center area, but parking in the hotel is decent, and parking in town is decent and free. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus to relay you into town, but we did not utilize it. The drive into town took about 3 minutes, and I’d estimate the walk to be about 15 – 20 minutes through mostly residential areas. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We would stay there in the future.

I would say it’s an OK place to stay. It had convenient amenities like a restaurant/​bar and a nice pool area. The rooms are pretty dated though. The AC unit is the room is the kind where one minute you’re waking up because you’re hot and the next because you’re freezing cold.
I wouldn’t waive anyone off from staying here as long as you know what you’re getting into.

The best resort we have stayed at yet! Great staff, location, restaurant. Absolutely loved the atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back! Definitely recommend.

This hotel was ideally located at the base of Snow King Mountain. There is an Alpine Slide located on Snow King Mountain but unfortunately, was undergoing maintenance and was shut down during our visit. The kids enjoyed the pool which was pretty big. The pool patio area was really nice with a wide selection of seating. There was also some seating around fire pits located near the pool area as well.
Be expected to pay a resort fee, whether or not you use some of the facilities and /​or amenities.
The hotel was in close proximity to the downtown area and just a few blocks away from Snake River Brewery and Restaurant.

This resort is so nice and charming. I wish I could’ve stayed longer but I only stayed for the night.
A city bus runs through here that’ll take you into town and the mountain view in the morning takes your breath away. I never knew Jackson Hole could be so beautiful. The service here is great and the shuttle drivers are entertaining and knowledgeable. I loved hearing stories about the Elk and Moose that roam around.
Amenities are great and the rooms are clean.
I enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to return!

Ok, Here are the things I like about this place.
Staff is great. Super nice, very accommodating. They definitely know the hospitality business.
They allow dogs, which is awesome.
Building is clean, and well maintained.
As it should be for the price they are charging… it’s pretty darn expensive.
But here’s where it sucks.
We went to walk our dogs in the North Dog area the first night we were there. It was dark, but we could see the post with the doggie doo bags on it, and a full trash can next to it. We walked our dogs, picked up their waste, and left it in the trash can there.
The following morning, we discovered the entire dog area we had been walking in the night before was COVERED in dog feces. It appears that NONE of the guests have been bagging their dog crap, and no one at the hotel was cleaning the area either.
I’m not talking about a few piles. I’m talking about HUNDREDS of piles. I doubt there was one square foot of grass out there that didn’t have dog waste on it. Most of it was OLD, dried up, and clearly had been there a LONG time… which makes it even more inexcusable that the maintenance folks hadn’t cleaned the area in a LONG time. I find it hard to believe someone hadn’t noticed this and done something about it.
An hour with a rake and most of the waste would have been gone. But no one cared enough to bother. That’s not only disgusting, it’s completely unsanitary. I wonder how much fecal matter, bacteria, etc has been tracked into the halls and carpets in the rooms because of their lousy yard maintenance.
The second day, the doggie doo trash can hadn’t been emptied, and was still overflowing.
So while the grounds and building are well maintained, no one is bothering to clean up, or make sure the doggie area is clean. That’s inexcusable.
Then there’s the security issue. On the north side entrance, there is a sign that says that for security purposes, the door would require the use of a room key between 11 pm and 6 am. NOPE. That door was unlocked at ALL hours. In fact, we had to walk our dogs at 2 am, and it turns out, the door wasn’t locked at all. So much for the security.
Because of those two things, I’m giving them a 2. Otherwise, they would have had a five.
Snow King charges a LOT for their rooms. The least they can do is make sure the grounds are clean and sanitary, and the security is tightened up.
