Panda Chinese & Japanese

This place is strange. It’s primarily takeout but there are tables. Sushi here is poor. There are better options in Jackson. The staff are not friendly at all. They seem inconvenienced to be there much less take your order.
The place was clean and that’s about all it had going for it.

A friendly couple runs this place and it’s just the spot to go if you want a quick sushi take-​out. (It may the only place in town with sushi-​to-​go). My daughter has really enjoyed going there. There are a few tables at which to sit and I found the service to be pretty fast.

The food is actually pretty good. But it took me almost an hour to get my to go order without anyone ahead of me. A little ridiculous…

This is a pretty cool little place. It’s mainly just a take-​out Chinese restaurant but they have a huge amount of sushi options. They have an extended lunch period as well, 11:30 — 3:30.
I was torn between the lunch combo special for $ 4.95 or the 2 piece sushi combo for $ 4.50. I’m not sure if that special goes all week because I went on a Sunday.
I ended up going with the cashew chicken special which came with fried rice and an egg roll. Add the drink for $ 2 and you get a huge amount of food for $ 7. Honestly this could be split between 2 people.
The rice was pretty plain, I had to add soy sauce but the chicken was really good and came with a lot of mixed vegetables.
It’s definitely worth a try during lunch. Super fast and affordable!
