Paisano’s Pizzeria

Went in for the pizza buffet and there were three slices of pepperoni pizza available… we got the salad bar and waited and waited for more pizza to come out and it never did. Had one slice of pizza and it was old and hard. We’ve gotten their delivery a couple times, quick delivery since they’re right in Jackson which is nice. I will say the meatball pizza is awesome. Other pizzas I’ve had have been just ok — their cheese is weird and I’ve never seen anything quite like it on delivery pizza. Reminds me of digornos or something — which is not a good thing…

Delicious pizza, clean salad bar with fresh ingredients. They have take-​out, too. Their pizza crust is actually delicious, too! Highly recommend the chicken artichoke pizza. :)

I never write reviews but I have to for this place. We had a long day of boarding at Kirkwood and found this place on our way back home. Amazing fully stocked salad bar w all the goods and really delicious pizza– more of a thicker gooey crust but nicely crisp on the bottom. The owner even came out to see how everything was. We weren’t expected much and we were very pleasantly surprised!

Great place to stop with kids coming back from Snow! Excellent salad bar, friendly folks. Great deal for lunch with a hungry crew … They let us do the buffet & made extra pizza even though we were 10 minutes to end of lunch special. Thank you!

Hands down the best pizza in Jackson! We order the Greek pizza when in town and we’re never disappointed. They have a great lunch special that is all you can eat sliced pizza, (3 different varieties), and the salad bar, but we stick to our favorite Greek. Though we’ve visited another salad bar in town, (that says they’re award winning), but they pale in comparison. This one is always fresh, well-​stocked, clean, and offers a great variety. The people that work here are nice too, (added bonus).

I paid $ 18 for a large simple pepperoni pizza. The kids were cranky so I didn’t want to look for another place to eat. Once I received the pizza I had flash backs of the $ 5.55 pizza I got at 7 – 11 once.

First time here, what was I waiting for? My friends ordered the pizza and salad buffet which looked really good and they said was delicious. I ordered a cheeseburger which was yummy with lots of fresh pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. The place looked clean and the staff were friendly. I will be back!

First time at Paisano’s. First impression was clean facility and friendly workers and the number one thing real pizza ovens not the roller coaster type. Ordered a small combo and a one trip salad bar 21.99. The salad bar is outstanding, with a higher quality options than other pizzerias salad bars. Pesto pasta was great and the potato salad was not the standard box brand. Oh the pizza just arrived. See photo. First bite was GREAT!!! The sauce is more than just tomato paste it has a nice tang to it. The veggies are cut to the right size to allow proper cooking. Round table look out. This pizza smokes yours. I will be back.

WOW WOW WOW!!! Recommend by the clerk in the candy shop on main and was she right. The salad bar is fresh with the best variety I have ever seen. I love pizza and salad and have eaten it across America. The pizza (we had the Foothill Delight) was fresh, golden & crispy on the bottom, chewy & flavorful on top. Just the right amount of everything. Friendly good service.

Why anyone in Amador County would order pizza from anyone else in the area is beyond me. Paisano’s was cheaper, faster, and MUCH tastier than ANY other pizza place I’ve been in Years. Will be going there from now on.

OMG!!! Their pizza is a set you free moment! They have a large chicken and pesto pizza with onions ad olives for $ 15.99. The pesto is amazing and the toppings are plenty. The crust is flavorful as well.

Had the all you can eat ribs this time. They were really bland; as if they were boiled. No flavor at all. I don’t like BBQ sauce; however I had to use it here.

This place is great! Good pizza and an excellent salad bar! The service was nothing short of superb! Quiet enough to have conversation and no video games, which I appreciate, my son plays enough at home! :)

Pizza lovers of Jackson, rejoice! The excellent Paisano’s pizza (of Ione not Elk Grove) is available now in Jackson. It’s next to the CVS store and looks great, inside and out. We’re loving the choices on this menu which includes gourmet sandwiches, hamburgers, some pastas and half a dozen appetizers as well as a very nice salad bar and a few desserts. They fix the hamburgers exactly the way I make them at home, with slices of dill pickle, raw red onion, lettuce, etc. They’re super and I love their sweet potato fries that aren’t fried, with ranch dressing.
It’s priced right too, with $ 4.00 burgers and two kinds of potato, the wedges are also really good, for a mere $l.50. and are baked in the pizza oven… they’re super. The all you can eat pizza and salad lunch includes your beverage for $ 6.99. What a deal, especially with this kind of pizza quality. I love that they have both sweetened and unsweetened iced tea, and not those ubiquitous fruity kinds I don’t like.
My partner wasn’t crazy about the spaghetti and meatballs because it’s linguini, not spaghetti and there’s no meat sauce. But I don’t think you can possibly go wrong with this pizza and I really also liked that I could get my favorite one (Hawaiian) uncooked to bake at home thereby saving $ 5.00. What a great addition to our local options for eating out in Jackson, and we’re delighted to be able to go there for lunch and also be able to take home pizza for dinner. That’s what we call one stop shopping, when you don’t feel like cooking.

We had never tried Paisano’s Pizza before because of their location in Ione. Guess they’re doing pretty well there cause they just opened a NEW LOCATION in Jackson right near the COST LESS grocery store.
We had the 16″ Greek Pizza which was very tasty and a good value at $ 18. The toppings were very fresh and plentiful, the crust was very tasty and had the right amount of crunch vs. chewiness. They also have a lunch special there featuring Pizza, Salad Bar and a Drink for $ 6.95, I’m definitely going back for that soon. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. I remember thinking that they could really use a few TV’s to get people to hang out there.
Anyways, the pizza was great, salad bar was pretty extensive. I’m not sure if this is an additional location or if this is a relocation from Ione, so I’m filing this as an additional new location.
Go there. Paisano’s won’t disappoint you.
