Business Owner

Scott has served as president and principal broker for The Overby Company since 2003 after taking over from Phylisee Overby who founded the company in 1983.

Scott is an active commercial real estate advisor and has earned the highest designation, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), of the National Association of Realtors, held by less than five percent of commercial real estate professionals nationally.

Over the last twelve years Scott’s experience includes the major disciplines of office, retail, industrial and investment property acquisitions and dispositions. Scott is the past Treasurer and current President-​Elect of the Mississippi Commercial Association of REALTORS and served six years of the Central Mississippi MLS board of directors.
