First, I’d like to say that until this week, I’ve been a customer for 23 years. Why did I quit Modern Waste Systems? Simple. .. . I want to do business with a company that wants my business. After not picking up the garbage on our street, I called the company to complain. Their response was, «…uh, are you sure we didn’t pick it up?» Yes, I’m sure. (It’s still on the curb three days later.) If you’re not going to pick it up, just say so. .. but don’t deny not picking it up. There are lots of companies around that want my money. I’ll choose one that’s more responsive to customer concerns.
