History

Established in 1982.

I am, Bruce Jackson, owner/​operator of Jolly Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners, Inc. of Jackson, New Jersey with my first cleaning truck in 1976. Little did I know then that that year, 1976, I would make carpet cleaning history doing high rise carpet cleaning at heights that have never been done to this day. I had the 2^nd truck mounted mobile cleaning system in New Jersey. We are fully self-​contained and need no external power or fresh water to clean with. At the time this was especially important because that year, 1976, Trenton, New Jersey had terrible floods and no electricity. With no way to remove standing water Jolly Carpet and one other company had the ability to do so since we needed no electricity.



Jolly Carpet was the first carpet cleaner in the country to go up 10 stories to clean carpet. We were cleaning carpet 10 floors above the truck in Newark, New Jersey.

My name is Bruce Jackson, owner/​operator of Jolly Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners, Inc., in Jackson, NJ for over 30 years. I have been in the consumer end of the fabric care industry for over 40 years, starting in my fathers dry-​cleaning plant. At Jolly, we pride ourselves with putting our customers health before all else. I, the owner, perform all the services personally. This ensures that no service we perform is done until the surface is as clean as it can get. Whether we are cleaning carpet, upholstery, drapes, ceramic tile and grout, the same level of care is personally given. All cleaning materials are people and pet friendly and approved by the EPA. Jolly leaves no unhealthy residues on any surface we clean. No residue means no allergic reaction. Jolly feels that a clean house is a happy home.
