Kim in fabrics with the short brown hair was soo rude and condescending to me, my math was correct the first time and she kept telling me over and over again the piece of fabric wasn’t going to work, she was very rude and impatient and just had an over all nasty attitude. Sorry you were having a bad night hunny, but you need to learn to smile at a customer once in a while and learn your math…

So, I apparently have had vastly different experiences here than the other reviewer. This store is HUGE, and that’s a good thing! The employees were very helpful and willing to show me and others where things are. They even have a whole section for cake baking/decorating. The fabric selection is awesome! I see a lot, I quilt and sew garments and do some upholstery work: I only have to go to one store to get the selection I need. I love Joann’s in general because they always have great coupons. And the ladies at the checkout waited for me to sift through and find them all on my phone and in the flyer. Also, it’s kept pretty near and clean. The ceilings are high and it is very light in here.

So Disappointed. I haven’t sewed in years and went to JoAnnes thinking I would buy some fabric for some pillows. When I got there the staff was standoffish and when I asked for help I was met with a *sigh* and was grudgingly led along to where I needed to go or pointed in the general direction. Let me say the store is HUGE so I spent over 3 hours there trying to find what I needed. At one point the lady cutting my fabric literally snapped at me because I asked to lay a huge bolt of apolstry fabric that was about 5 feet long on the counter while I continued shopping. I felt very much like I was treated like I knew nothing about sewing and was a pain in the butt to everyone there because I needed help finding things. After getting my fabric cut I needed help figuring out what GIMP was and thankfully there was a very nice young lady there who did help me, however when she was talking into her microphone to ask the manager what GIMP was, the rude lady yelled out ITSTRIM from the counter. Then about 15 minutes later I was looking for some stuffing and the rude lady was there again and I asked her if there was any other stuffing in the store and she literally ignored me and turned around to help the customer behind her who looked at me apologetically. I was so frusterated I hurried to the checkout and thankfully the lady there was nice to me. Needless to say I spent over $ 300. When I got home I contemplated on how I was treated and I even spoke with my best friend and husband about it and the overall consensus was to take it back. Why give my money to a store that is going to treat me that way. So I did take it back and upon returning the items I was treated like a burden again. When getting the items remeasured and when checking out for the refund. When finally getting my money back I was concerned because the lady didnt know how to refund the money since I had used both a gift card and a credit card for the payment. I was concerned that the money was refunded back on the gift card and so I wanted a receipt that showed the refund to the credit card because the I no longer had the gift card and the lady(who was so unsure of how to do the refund she had to call her manager to ask what to do) told me in a snotty voice it WAS refunded to the right card. I finally lost my temper at that point after being so rudely treated throughout the entire experience that I told her I just wanted to double check and to give me my receipt so I could leave. Needless to say I have to go back to Joannes to get my sewing machine which is being repaired by them, however i will NEVER go back again after that.
