History

Established in 2007.

Opening the doors for business in 2007, Shane McLendon, started his home-​grown residential construction company Home Remedies LLC with little more than a pick-​up truck and a dream to change the interiors of Mississippi, one home at a time. What once began as a modest one-​man home repair operation, Home Remedies has now grown (and continues to expand) into a full-​scale home remodeling company. Specializing in custom kitchens and bathrooms to whole-​home remodeling, Shane is the general contractor to call whether you need a major interior overhaul or are just looking to freshen your living space.

Shane’s drive to see Mississippi reach its fullest potential is deeply ingrained in him: he is a native of Pearl, MS. Graduating from Pearl High School and later earning a construction degree from Hinds Community College, Shane has been involved in the building industry long before setting out on his own by working for other construction companies in the area. He obtained his builder’s license with the MS State Board of Contractors in December of 2008 and is registered as a Certified Professional Remodeler with the MS Housing Institute. Shane resides in Brandon, MS, with his wife of over ten years and their two sons.
