Grathwohl, Rauch & Cohen P.C. is one of the leading estate planning firms in the Bay Area. The firm was started by John David Grathwohl in 1972 in Belmont, CA. Mr. Grathwohl ran the firm until he sold it to Charles Rauch in 1998. Mr. Rauch carried on the same level of profesionalism until he sold the firm to Garry Cohen in 2005. Garry and Charles continue to provide the highest level of service that David started in 1972.

Business Owner

Charles Rauch brings a practical approach to advising clients based upon his extensive life experience. Prior to becoming an attorney in 1995, Charles was an experienced business owner, management and business consultant and real estate broker. Charles works with and counsels clients in the areas of trust and estate planning, business, real estate, homeowners associations, and family law (divorce).

Charles also provides alternate dispute resolution (ADR) services as a mediator and arbitrator. Charles resides in Jackson and provides legal services to the Sierra Foothill communities from the firm’s Jackson branch office as well as to the firm’s San Francisco Bay Area clients at the law firm’s Redwood Shores office.
