I love going to Chilango’s Chop House! The food is fresh, from local sources when possible, and the staff is always friendly. If you have a salad craving, they have something you will enjoy! They make all of their dressings in house and you can sample them before you make tot selection.

This place is a gem! Everything is fresh and the staff is awesome. I love that they chop the salad and toppings all together. This is the way a salad should be! Fantastic.

This is a terrific restaurant in downtown Jackson. They have a great menu with creative juice, salad and wrap choices. The food is tasty, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is very informal. The prices are more than reasonable. We were on our way to the Jackson County Fair and had not had a chance to grab dinner before leaving home. We decided we wanted to make a stop before going to the Fairgrounds. Downtown Jackson is only a few blocks to the south and I spotted this place as we drove through. It looked like a good bet. There was a city lot just south of the shop and, since it was about 6PM, we had no problem finding a place to park. The storefront was quite interesting with a yellow façade to catch attention. The diminutive interior was well kept but cramped. Fortunately, they also offered outdoor seating. It was a beautiful evening so we took advantage of that to eat outside. The format was walk-up and order. The menu featured the option to build-your-own salad or wrap or choose a set salad/wrap creation. We were helped by a friendly person behind the counter who was very pleasant in taking our order. My wife chose to build her own from the 40-something choices they had for ingredients. It included a choice of greens, four toppings and a dressing for a $ 6.99 base price(some toppings cost extra). My daughter opted for the Modern Asian Salad featuring salmon, edamame, broccoli, wasabi peas, slaw(cabbage-carrot) with spinach and romaine. She chose for it to be topped with teriyaki dressing. I had the Viva Mexico with ancho-chile chicken, Monterey jack cheese, tomato, black beans, corn, tortilla strips with romaine lettuce. It was topped with honey chipotle vinaigrette. All of us were in agreement that our salads were excellent. The prices were very reasonable. With two soft drinks/waters, our bill came to about $ 35 with tax. This was less than $ 12 per person. I thought this was a terrific deal. Overall, if you are in downtown Jackson and looking for a light dinner, this is a great place to stop. The food is excellent with fresh ingredients, the service is polite and the atmosphere is very laid back with outdoor seating as an option. The prices are excellent making it a great bargain. I would highly recommend it if you have a taste for a salad or wrap.

Love the food. It is fresh ingredients and you can alter the salads or create your own. Love that they get local chicken and free range. You get a lot of salad for the price.

Great place with yummy fresh salads, soups and juices. I got the modern Asian with wild salmon. It was huge and just my cup of tea! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to have a place like this in my neighborhood in colorado. I hope to come back for a juice tomorrow!

They said local and they meant it, big and very fresh salads. Literally watched the guy unload fresh produce and then the staff opened the bags and put them in the salads. Get local spot.

Traveling on business and did not expect to be able to find fresh juice, so that was a huge win! They’ve got a great selection of fresh juices, and use a centrifugal juicer and then serve your beverage with a sealed plastic lid, the likes of which I’ve only seen in boba tea shops. It’s even served with a boba tea straw. The Champion fresh juice was excellent and the perfect dessert to my custom salad. Regarding the salads — this is a new concept that seems to be popping up around the country, and I’m grateful for it. The chopped salad! Their menu is rather spartan compared to their southern competitor(Bread Zeppelin) seen in Dallas, TX, but you can always have them custom make any combination you can fathom. The lavash bread they offer with the salad is nothing to write home about, and frankly it does nothing to help the salad. If anything, I’d encourage these guys to look up the Bread Zeppelin model and consider partnering with a local bakery to provide the same wonderful option to their menu. To save you the search, a «zeppelin» from Bread Zeppelin is a long sub roll on which they cut off an end, use tongs to remove much of the inner dough, and then stuff the hollowed roll with a chopped salad. Makes it easy to consume and is a wonderful option for the less carb conscious consumer. The prices are excellent compared to their contemporaries I’ve experienced throughout the country, but may be high for locals who can get a great salad nearby and may not see the value in a «chopped salad.» The gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating of a custom salad build which required almost every vegetable they had available. 5⁄5 for a very pleasant surprise while working in town.

Excellent made when ordered salads. Select from build your own to classics(cobb, ceasar, etc) or chefs recommends. Salads are a full meal but you can order on a wrap(choices there too) for slightly smaller size/less $.

Service: Friendly, helpful and quick. Salad: Big, lots of choices, fresh, very tasty. Price: I think this is very affordable. Under $ 6 for a salad made the way you want it or pick one off the menu. Place: Clean, seating for about 20 but this is easy to take out also. I am so happy to see a healthy choice in town. A good salad and a healthy alternative to the regular pizza, burgers, sandwiches that you usually get. I loved the spicy dressing and I will be going back soon. Worth the trip and my 1st5 star rating.

I’m in love! All natural, free range, made in house ingredients and friendly people too boot! The salads are totally worth the price! And they are huge, I usually eat half for lunch and save the rest for later. They do everything from building the salad, to chopping it to packing it right in front of you. They even ask if there is enough dressing etc. I loved that they suggested I substitute something for the jalapeños I did to want in my Mexican Caesar! They ALSO have a juice bar too! I haven’t tried it yet though.

Your salads rock!!! There are literally thousands of combinations possible. The dressings are made in house and they are fantastic. There are also organic options for those that are so inclined. They also have a juice bar that looks tasty although I haven’t tried it yet.
