Established in 1963.

First opened in 1962 by Louis Campbell, purchased in 2011 by Pastry Chef Mitchell Moore. We use Mr. Campbell’s recipe for our teacakes, unchanged in 53 years.

«Byram native Mitchell Moore worked as a pastry chef alongside Nick Apostle, owner and head chef of Nick’s Restaurant. Moore’s Southern-​style homemade cheesecakes gained a cultlike following and in 2008 he parlayed his baking and pastry skills into a side business.

When news traveled that the Campbell’s space was available, Moore said he couldn’t ignore the opportunity.»
