As a long term resident of Jackson Hole, Ana Rode established Ana’s Grand Excursions to provide visitors to the area a touring option which would ensure receiving the highest quality of education, fun and personalized experience possible. Tours are not «run of the mill» but hand crafted to suit each group’s needs.

While previously having re-​invented herself many times before (including Corporate Flight Attendant, Ski Instructor, Architectural Designer, Construction Engineer, Singing Telegram Delivery, Ski Resort Marketing, World Traveler, Elderly Care Giver), as an educator, entertainer and naturalist Ana should not be at a loss for words to keep you engaged throughout the entire tour day.

We booked our grand excursion with Ana for the day after we arrived in Jackson Hole. She picked us up at our rental house and had everything we needed for our ½ day trip.
We had a party of three generations — two sets of grandparents in their 70s, parents, and 2 grandkids ages 4 and 2. Ana was accommodating to all ages, complete with teddy bears at the ready for the kids, snacks, drinks, fancy water bottles (to keep!) and the tour hadn’t even started.
Ana has a great depth of knowledge to share and tailored the tour of the Tetons for our attention spans and needs (we have little legs that need lots of exercise, some of the older folks can’t do too much walking). Everybody was happy on this tour and it was definitely a highlight. We saw plenty of wildlife and went to places we would not have known about on our own.
I absolutely would recommend Ana’s tour to anyone I know and will definitely return to tour with her in the future. She is a classy guide with attention to detail and professionalism that is second to none.

Ana is a unique, super knowledgeable, good humored and humorous guide. 6 of us debated about the number of hours in a van (10 – 12!) and the price, but we finally made the leap. Ana showed, told, hosted and guided us through many more aspects of the park then we could have if we were alone. her van is super comfy with extra big windows and everyone got a window seat. She packed snacks (after asking our preferences prior to the trip) and understood the pace we wanted. We could have spent DAYS with her without tiring of listening to her. We have hired guides in many places all over the world and she was the best!
