There are two people working there around 6:30am. I recently went after an early start to my day. There was only one other customer. The person on the counter was surly and clearly did not want to be there and moved slowly to get my order going. I would rather go to a Starbucks closer to my work and endure 30 minutes of sleepiness on the train, than start my day off at this location.

Went here yesterday, The lady making my frappé was rude and took the joy right out of being there once she opened her mouth. After I said to her that I forgot my sister wanted 2 pumps of hazelnut in it(which my sister just texted to remind me after I had paid already). Her: «you know that cost extra right, next time pay for it first» or some such. Really? Like I got my frappé for free? I know it costs money, duhhhh… go ahead and charge me for it, don’t patronize me, sheesh. Btw Starbucks Gold level means nothing here apparently. you get treated like someone trying to skip paying for syrup even though you are a regular. Also hope This lady work in the back of the house, she and her attitude problem belong there. 2 stars for getting the order right atleast.

I always do that order before thing from the app. They usually have my order ready for me. Sometimes I have to wait a min or two. But works for me. Quick in and out.

Most crowded and most incompetent staff. Baristas are supposed to read off names but instead of doing that, an overweight bearded barista challenged me that I even ordered my drink nearly gave it away and then called me rude for complaining. This is my reward for spending $ 13.00 here for a meal. I am never returning here. What a crappy location. I cannot wait for Café Bene to open down the street!

I always come here to get my morning coffee fix. If you come early enough, you’ll be able to grab a seat and enjoy what they have to offer. They have free wifi here too. Throughout the day it gets busy and the service can be slow due to the same number of staff working. I would suggest just getting one more person to help; it would make a difference.

Not my favorite location but I come here a lot anyway. July 02, 9:00 pm. I didn’t get the barista’s name. She was not pleasant. I ordered iced coffee, black. The girl who took my order forgot to mark it on the cup so the barista made my coffee with milk and classic syrup. I really hate rejecting drinks but i asked for a remake. Me: «I’m so sorry but can I have it black?» Barista: «…Just order it that way next time.» Me: «yeah. I did. She(girl at register) even confirmed.» Barista: «she?(Gives me a condescending, brow lift look) the gentleman took your order(there was another guy taking people’s orders)» Why does that even matter? She slid my new coffee(with milk, contrary to what I ordered, but I took it anyway) and gave me a soft, «you’re welcome.»

This Starbucks opens at 5:30WHENTHEYFEELLIKEIT. Out of the handful of times I have actually NEEDED to get out the door by 5:30 and walked there first, it has been closed with a handwritten sign saying«Not Open Until 6 Today.» Like today. What it should really say is «Manager did not get here early enough to set up AGAIN, and we just don’t care!» This would be less infuriating if it weren’t the ONLY thing open at this hour(supposedly), so if Starbucks is closed, then there’s nothing to do but walk home at 5:30AM with no coffee, and now no time to buy any.

Their staff is pretty cool! Never really had a bad experience. Its always crowded. The milk and cream containers are always empty. Don’t expect to be in and out it takes forever to get your drink. Its definitely not my place to go for morning coffee. I made it to work late once because it took way longer than i expected. But i think the fact that its the only one in jackson heights it makes it ok. I guess.

Love the staff. Really nice people. But seriously, it’s pretty corny to run the air conditioning on your customers even in the dead of winter. I know the policy is to get us to GTFO after we drink our coffee. But some of us are gold card members. Which means spending an awful lot of money to sit around as long as we like. Is this how you repay customer loyalty? How is that even cool?(no pun intended)

It is a great starbucks in my opinion. I haven’t been to many of them but it is quite spacious and not at all crowded in the evenings. There are lots of space and very open. I have been to some and most of their seating is very limited, while this place has like four window seats, a table with seating for ten people, eight couches, small table with four seats and three tables with two seats each. Now think about all that with more space to walk still, that just sounds crazy. They have a painting near their big window which is cool because it is a representation of how this neighborhood looks like now, or maybe couple of years earlier. Either way it is quite cool to look at. Their wifi is Google and this fact may be but it’s quite fast even though lots of people are on it. It’s irrelevant I say due to the fact that if starbucks didn’t have it so fast not a lot would be here, but having it so fast keeps them here. The lighting isn’t bad at all, even though I would like the white lights since these yellow lights hurt the eyes now a days. As for the neighborhood I say it’s a interesting spot side it’s almost the middle. One side has so many good eating spots that is convenient. On the other side there is just great shopping spots for Asian materials and Asian food. There is a great looking Thai place right next to the shop.

What can I say? Its a decent size, fast pace, fairly clean starbucks. Im happy there a Starbucks in JH, the only bad thing I’d say is sometimes it can be slow and there no time to predict when since its a populated area.

This Starbucks location is like a community center. It really is one of the most populated Starbucks locations I have ever seen, second to only Astor Place. People sit around working. This is one of those areas where Starbucks could try something unique, like opening a coffee showroom type place that can seat of the people and allow for meetings, etc to happen there. It seems like it happens anyway, but the place is not big enough to really get the community building to happen. I bet sales would go up. It is also amazing to see the mix of races and cultures that frequent this particular store. It is pretty unique.

Ample seating and large space for a Starbucks location. Well lit with plenty of areas to plug away and work on your project, or pretend on being productive. You can spend the day here working on notes, and no one will disturb you. The only caveat is that despite large seating area it gets so packed on weekends that it may just deter you from staying, you may just have to take that coffee or tea to go. Staff is great and location is clean. Late hours on weekends. What more could you ask for!

This is a wonderful place to escape to during lunch hour. It’s clean and comfortable and I’m a fan of any place that makes you feel like you’re in a different neighborhood than the one you’re in. All the baristas are really nice and I’ve never had a bad experience here. The only thing I wish they’d improve on is having more seats and space. I don’t mind squeezing awkwardly between two guys who are pretending to work at the communal table. But it’d be cool if there they were able to make more room. But that’d require steamrolling the mom and pop stores next door. And that ain’t right. right?

I always come to get my favorite caramel frappuccino here, the place although is always busy and packed get ready to wait in line and wait for seating. Free wifi, place is big but they do take long to make your drink around 10 mins. The bakery runs out of stuff really quickly so I advice go early.
