I ordered a delivery for the first time from this place, thinking I’ll become a regular… What a disappointment! Received an order of 3 layers of pancakes (ALL BURNT), eggs were thrown next to pancakes in a hurry, panini was not appealing. My first order became my last!

Once again, they FORGOT something. We ordered two sandwiches, got one. How do you forget one out of two? It’s just not that hard. I’m baffled how this place is still in business.

the food there is good. That is not the problem. Unfortunately the service is going down. When the older son has to be at the time he was always very friendly I will tell my order correctly. Now they have a kid with an attitude and I can’t even get my egg sandwich correctly. I might as well just walk in and say do whatever you want because that is exactly what happens. My request is very simple I always ask for fried eggs and I always get scrambled. And it’s partly my fault because I don’t force them to remake it because I have an issue with food being thrown out and wasted

Love this Deli, my boyfriend bought me breakfast from here once. I had to come back for the BACON EGG AND CHEESE and buttermilk pancakes. Also, I had a wrap and hero which was super good. Overall clean and delicious deli plus great staff.

Sandwiches here are a must try! Try the breakfast menu or the classic sandwiches — you won’t be disappointed!

Opposite of fast service. For a crowded place (at least when I was there) they had a lousy system for ordering and paying. In my opinion they need some help. I recommend they do one of three things: (1) go to any thriving and busy deli in the city to see how to set up a flow for ordering, paying, and p/​u; (2) hire a restaurant consultant with expertise on process improvement; (3) go online and do a search for a «How to operate a deli 101» course. Seriously, how can they be so clueless? 1 star because I can’t give it a zero. If the store operators cared I wouldn’t be so harsh.

Literally our go-​to place! Their menu is vast, so we are always trying new things and are never disappointed. Our faves are the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and the Chicken Cutlet Sandwich. Everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming. So glad it is nearby!

A neighborhood doesn’t feel like home unless you have a good deli. A place where when you walk in, they greet you with a warm smile and are surprised if they haven’t seen you in a couple of days. That’s what’s K&L deli has been for me and my wife.
They have DELICIOUS heroes, the Italian one being my absolute favorite. They’re very old school New York about the way they make them; so big and stuffed with cold cut goodness that you need to unhinge your jaw to get a bite. I will never understand how people can go to Subway (BARF) when places like this exist. They also have wraps, salads, burgers, and even friggin panini’s. However, they win my heart with their phenomenal versions of everyone’s favorite hangover cure — the classic bacon, egg, and cheese. AND THEY DELIVER!!!
A surprisingly nice selection of cold beers and standard deli treats. I’ve noticed they have chocolate bars I’ve never seen before. They may be Canadian, yo no se.
I seriously can’t thank the goddesses enough for having such a quality deli so close to home.

Just moved here from Brooklyn and one of best deli I been too. The food is BOMB!!! and most of the staff are local kids from the highschool nearby and really nice.

This place been here for years. I been coming here since I was a child. They have really done a number on renovating the place. It’s a great deli to come to for breakfast & lunch. Ice tea and lemonade is delicious. Their chicken cordon blue on a hero is one of my favorites. I use to drive out to the west side deli just for the cordon blue and these recent years I’ve been lucky to realize they serve it. I’ve had their breakfast and their home fries I like a lot compare to most places. Next time I’ll post some pictures.

Recently moved into the neighborhood and needed a usual to go spot and so far this place has satisfied for my needs for sandwiches, staff is friendly and the deli itself is welcoming

Really nice staff & delicious sandwich, but relatively long wait.
I got a subway special on a hero ($ 8.27 including tax). Forgot exactly what fillings were in it, but the sando had mozzarella, salami, turkey, veg (L.O.T), and a delicious garlicky sauce all served on hot and toasty garlic bread.
Quite filling. Lasted me two meals.
Only reason why I’m only giving this 3 stars is because of the 15 minute wait and because no sandwich will ever compare to Sal, Kris, and Charlie’s in Astoria. *Yelp BETTER not censor me for this. Reviewing is all about comparisons!*

Quick and friendly costumer service. Food is amazing. Friendly cat walks around. Everything you want in a deli. Organic products.

They used to have great sandwiches, and service is usually pretty good. I love the Suicide Squeeze sandwich, which is worth the wait even though it can take over 10 minutes for them to make it. However, the last two times I ordered toasted sandwiches, I got home only to notice that the bread was charred black. This is not acceptable at all for a sandwich that burnt to be served. Extremely disappointing, as this used to be my favorite sandwich spot in the neighborhood. If it weren’t for the negative experiences my last two visits, this would be a 4 star review.

Amazing sandwiches. The service is great and when you have a big order they package the sandwiches up differently depending on whether it’s hot or cold. I love their heroes: Mexican steak, Italian hero, the subway series hero, and I love their wraps: the Cali and the honey turkey –yum. Their fries are always fresh and hot. I think if you you tell them to hold the grease on the sandwiches you won’t get such a greasy steak hero. Overall: great neighborhood deli.

I am from Long island where breakfast sandwhiches are the norm, and are always done very good. stopped here since i was in the area and got a reccomendation to get breakfast here. At first i was skeptical cause didnt expect good breakfast food to come out of a bodega but holy breakfast options, there are so many! And the egg sandwhich i chose was just as good if not better than long island breakfast sandwhiches.

Since new ownership this place is awesome! Sandwiches where always really good, but nothing new just same old thing. It was in need of a lift. Great job guys and keep those sandwiches coming! Oh and the new online ordering option is a added bonus!

These sandwiches are a hit or miss depending what you get — I would stick with the classics.
Be prepare to wait 10 – 20 minutes for a sandwich. I was literally the only one ordering a sandwich and it took over 10 minutes.

Growing up on Long Island it is like the home of the breakfast sandwich, so happy when I found this place 2 blocks away from my apartment. Food is fresh, cooked on site, all boars head cold cuts, and friendly service. A major plus is they deliver!
11÷1÷15 Okay, so I am removing 2 stars because there delivery absolutely sucks. I am judging by getting the wrong delivery 3 out of 5 times. Twice they forgot half my order, they delivered 1 sandwich out of 2. Than they delivered me the wrong sandwich. 3 out of 5 times for the wrong delivery is a lot. I will continue to order at the counter, but delivery is ridiculous and they need devise a new system to get orders out correctly. How does someone wait an hour for 2 sandwich’s 3 blocks away from the store to receive 1sandwich out of 2 or 1 that we did not order. Get it together, I know your busy but you should never be to busy for your customers.

My favorite neighborhood deli! This deli has been here forever and it’s a family owned business. The owner Peter is adorable, and he will make sure you have a good time in his store.
They have a huge selection of different heros and sandwiches to choose from. I would recommend the Veteran’s favorite. K&L has this «sautéed onion» that is like crack to a sandwich lover’s soul: cooked to perfection with hot sauce, ketchup and pepper… swoon. I really like that they accommodate requests with a smile. Once I asked Pete to make me a breakfast sandwich with blueberry pancake as buns. He killed it! Best part? The price is so right.
