Description

Specialties

Jeff Putterman grew up in Brooklyn, attended Stuyvesant High School when it was an all-male enclave, and was finishing his Phd in English Literature when he began a twenty year career on Wall Street. During that time he conducted and wrote research reports on companies in a variety of industries, helped create and structure complex financings and corporate mergers, and managed both individual and institutional funds. Eight years after retiring from that career, he joined Beaudoin Realty Group. He now uses his knowledge of negotiation, financial markets, and the process of valuation, to help sellers and buyers create deals where both sides end up satisfied and happy.

Jeff has been personally interested in historic real estate his entire adult life. Of the five houses he has owned, the most «modern» one was built in 1926. The oldest — which he and his wife completely renovated — dated to 1740! So it is not surprising that he was drawn to Jackson Heights precisely because it was an historic district, and encountered Beaudoin Realty as a customer.

Ten year ago, Michele and her team helped Jeff try to buy a Jackson Heights co-op. As sometimes happens, and for reasons unknown, the board rejected him. Hence he understands both the benefits and pitfalls of buying or selling a co-op. Later, BRG helped him buy a row-house in Historic Jackson Heights. Of course, when he decided to sell that home, he hired BRG, which once again delivered everything he was promised, and then some.
