When it comes to basic essentials, this dollar store seems to randomly have EVERYTHING. When I first moved, I needed: tons of hangers(check), cleaning supplies(check), teapot(check). When I wanted to change the toilet seat, and realized after going to Bed Bath and Beyond in Chelsea that it would be a pain to carry home, I went here and(check). When I was obsessing over a bamboo dish rack on Amazon, I figured why not see if this store had one(check) also for a few dollars cheaper. When I needed a clipboard for class(check)… I also came across a pack of Expo Whiteboard markers that made me sad. they had them here for cheaper than the supply store a few blocks away(I bought them an hour before class because well, I neglected to have a complete checklist before the beginning of the semester).

This place usually has a lot of the usual items I would need on a whim to get my apartment clean with the least amount of money possible. You can get off brand cleaners and everything you need for around one dollar each. The store is pretty friendly and the ladies there keep it pretty clean. I have shopped here several times and will be coming back for cleaning supplies when I do not want to spend full price at the supermarket.

I know it’s weird to review a 99 cent store but, this is the best dollar store I have ever been to. They sell brand name products, for ½ the price or even more off. Everything from household items, toiletries and more. We stumbled upon this dollar mart after our doggie puked in the car(sorry TMI) and we needed to get some things to clean it up. A roll of paper towels, cleaner and glade pet carpet freshener only cost me about $ 4. The store is nice, clean and FULLY stocked. I happened upon it again during a tour of the area with streetwise tours and felt it was fated that I should put them on Unilocal. The owner is also extremely nice and is at the front of the store, even on the weekend, to help customers. A great place to pick up everyday items.
