I completely agree with all the negative reviews here. The owner is a total jerk with no sense of customer service or politeness. While the clothes are average designs from India, the fit is appalling. The tailor they recommend is an old one-​man show who speaks barely any English: go to Jackson Tailors instead.
If it weren’t for the lack of choice in this depressing suburb, I would never go here. The worst part: the overpriced designs would cost a tenth of the price in India, and a better fit and tailoring would be INCLUDED in the ridiculous price.
Go to Edison, New Jersey for your Indian clothes.

Just custom ordered a wedding lehenga from here. The prices were reasonable, the service was amazing, and the staff was truly honest and forth coming with their opinion!
Angad was my consultant and he was the sweetest salesman ever. He stayed within my price range, he would let me know if he showed me something of a slightly higher price, and as we narrowed down options he made sure to keep my favorites easily accessible for quick comparison.
The process was easy and took exactly as long as I wanted it to. Every one of my questions was answered and they were able to meet every single one of my needs.
I am referring all of my friends and family to Armaans bridal & Rahul couture to be the best dressed guests at my wedding.

Oh my god. Stay away from this store! The owner is so fcking rude, it’s not even funny. He acts like a stuck up, arrogant prick. He doesn’t even acknowledge the customers. He didn’t even greet my friend & I either. How do you plan on selling stuff, if you can’t even make your customers feel welcomed? With this type of horrible service, I would never come back here. My fiancé and I are from Toronto decided to go take a look into Armaan’s bridal after SEVERAL good referrals from family and friends from New York. The first day I went in my eye caught one specific outfit. It wasn’t the cut I had wanted originally but the colours and design was everything I imagined. It was the first bridal lengha I tried on. Every other one after that just didn’t fit well or looked. I tried it on again… and it was amazing. My fiancé and I chatted with Rahul for over an hour about outfits, the Bollywood world and what not. Rahul is very knowledgable and HONEST! His opinion meant a lot. I didn’t buy it on the first day but I came back the following Sunday with my parents, aunt and uncle. When my mom first saw it she liked it but wasn’t in love. When I tried it on, she was like I LOVE it on you. Some tears flowed and reality set in; This was the lengha. Some people don’t take it seriously but it was something that meant a lot to me. Thank you Rahul and the Armaan Bridal team for your assistance and a wonderful experience. Now make a store in Canada! Haha. If you are in New York or travelling there and in need of one… check them out! It would be worth your while!

When you really want to buy something but the staff’s service just breaks your heart! I usually buy a lot of clothes and usually only designed wear! I’m always a serious buyer! The staff was soooo rude and stuck up! Especially that short guy !! Ugh he was horrible !!! So unprofessional! It was never a welcoming or helpful atmosphere. rather spend my thousands somewhere else !!!

This is just depressing. After leaving this place for years, a friend pushed me into the store after seeing something in the display. Still a disappointment.
NOTHING CHANGED. STILL WORST SERVICE OF ALL TIME.
The worst part is, the workers aren’t the rude ones, it’s the owner!

I recently shopped here for my bridal outfit and had an amazing experience! I was definitely hesitant considering many places in the area are overpriced but I was pleasantly surprised when what I wanted fell well below my budget. I custom ordered my outfit and was told it would take 3 months to get it back. To my surprise, I received a call a little over one month later saying it was back. It was perfect and Rahul was extremely accommodating through the entire process. I would definitely recommend them for custom ordered outfits! Definitely trustworthy and you can rest assured your dream outfit will come to life with them. No complaints!

Shadyyy. I liked a sherwani and the worker points to a tag on it listing $ 1300(!). I start to leave and they call me back and say ok 800 with shoes included. They then came down to 700 but the damage was done I didn’t want to give them any money at all for blatantly trying to rip me off.
I wouldn’t recommend this place and certainly would suggest against paying anywhere near what they first quote you. 2 stars for decent selection.

I’m really surprised at all the negative comments. Armaan’s Bridal sets the standard high for customer service, quality, and price.
I bought my reception lengha there and had a wonderful experience. The reason I will continue giving Armaan’s Bridal my business is because it’s obvious that making a profit is not their motive; Rahul really seems to care about making his customers happy. Customer service gets 5 stars, and the fact that my outfit is amazing is just a bonus.
I happened in there while looking around for a reception lengha for my wedding. Rahul, the owner, came in and helped me himself. I had no idea he was the owner, as he was very helpful and attentive, no aura of arrogance, no boasting, no impatience from him at all.
He took me and my bridal entourage into a cozy private bridal area, where he sat them down and made sure they were comfortable. It was like «Say Yes to the Dress– Desi Edition.» During the process, which was very long, and before I even committed to buying anything, he offered to get everyone samosas and drinks– things to keep us comfortable. It’s the little things, you know?
Since I had no idea what I wanted, he pulled out a ton of lenghas to help me decide. He did not once seem agitated or exasperated with my indecisiveness. He went through at least 30 outfits, had me narrow down the list, and then literally helped me get dressed in at least 10 different outfits, from head to toe. He did not just hold them up to me in front of a mirror– he gave me the works– with petticoat and shoes to complete the look.
The service was impeccable. He was friendly, funny, and patient. He engaged my bridesmaids and mom, making us all feel welcome and happy.
I finally chose THE ONE. But it wasn’t in the right shade of red– which I was heartbroken about. Brides– you know what I mean. Maroon/​crimson/​candy… they are NOT «the red» but no one understands :(Anyway… he was able to offer an option to have the lengha sent out to be custom made. The whole outfit was remade in the color I wanted. How freaking amazing is that?! I understand that not everyone may be able to financially afford that option– but let me tell you that I am not a high roller. I have a budget, and Rahul was able to work with me on my budget and made sure I got everything I wanted.
There is a genuine niceness to him. He really seems to get pleasure out of helping brides make their dream come true.
Anyway– a few months later my Caucasian girl friend asked me to take her shopping to get a sari. We went to Armaan’s first, and told them that it was our first stop so we would like to make sure she sees what else is on the avenue. He had no problem with that. Rahul is confident in his items, as well he should be. My friend and I searched the entire avenue; she found another sari and some accessories somewhere else. But couldn’t decide between that or the one at Armaan’s. It came down to the price. We decided to go back to Armaan’s and see what he was willing to do. He price matched the package from the other store (sari and accessories– although his sari was more worked up and should have been slightly more expensive). He kept my friend within her budget and everyone loves her sari.
Yesterday I took my future sister in law sari shopping. We did the same thing– Armaan’s first (because they obviously set the standard high for quality and price), then shopped the entire avenue. I wasn’t 100% pleased with the service the saleswoman gave us, so I asked for Rahul to help us when we came back. Although he was busy with several other customers, he managed to juggle us all and made time to help us without making us feel rushed. He even escorted us to another store where he had saris, to make sure we were given all the options for what we were looking for. Ultimately, it was again a tie between two saris, one at Armaan’s and one from another store. We tried to negotiate with the other place but they wouldn’t really budge, AND, they didn’t let us take a photo of my sister in law trying on the sari… which really was a crucial element since she wanted to send her parents a photo of the top 2 choices to help her decide. We were permitted to take a photo at Armaan’s, which sucked for the other place because once her parents saw the photo they loved the sari (again, part of the customer service, people!). Also, the sari, which was out of our budget by a few hundred dollars, was marked down significantly so that it was manageable. We felt like we hit the lotto! AND, Rahul included earrings.
I am going back next week to help another friend with her shopping… needless to say we will be going by Armaan’s Bridal. I never push my friends to buy from him; I have nothing to gain or lose. I let them use comparisons of quality, price, and customer service to make their own decisions… yet somehow everyone keeps choosing Armaan’s Bridal. That speaks for itself.
Rahul you have made a lifelong customer out of me.

Worst over priced store! The inflation of this store is ridiculous! The quality of fabric is crap and it’s over priced Cuz all it basically is cheap diamond like work plastered all over the outfit! I’ll spend money when it’s worth it! Shop at pashmina or even better Bombay bridal. Better prices for the quality you get. Best place go to Jamaica queens. designer clothing at riwaaz with awesome prices. Not inflated! I have compared same outfits in other stores with armaan and mannan .same quality same design basically same dress for more than less than half the price!.. If your smart do you research and learn when your getting ripped off! Even better go to nj !! Oak tree road best indian fashion forward clothing worth your money and by far the best customer service than Jackson heights sales people! trust me nyc has a few indian gem stores. But these stores def not!

I highly recommend anyone looking for a beautiful outfit to shop at Armaan’s Bridal. Their selection is endless and the owners will go above and beyond to get you what you’re looking for. I recently came to the store to pick out an outfit I needed to host an event. The store’s owner, Rahul, pulled out the perfect outfit — simply by knowing what would look best. That’s what you call an expert, and a professional. They were all very kind and patient — and were very professional. I was able to try on the outfit and he gave me tips on what I could do to make it look the way I wanted it to. Love the store, love the owners and can’t wait to shop there again for my next big event.

I am finally calm enough and many many months later i can write this review. If i was able to give 0 star i would. I was in need for few outfits for 2 weddings so i ventured out to this nightmare of a store with my mom because someone told me i didn’t have to haggle for prices. The store was empty except for Midget #1 and Midget #2 i. e the 2 brothers/​owners. They rudely asked me upon literally setting my foot in the place what i was looking for. So i say i needed 4 outfits. I start to peruse the store and asked to see an outfit that was out of reach. Midget #1 replies «it’s too pricey for you». Me: I’m sorry? I haven’t told you what my price range was. He responded «it’s not within your price range». To me this was amusing so I egg the idiot on and I tell him «alright, then why don’t you show me what’s within my price range» He then responds that I probably wouldn’t find anything in this store within my budget and that i should go elsewhere!” Me: so are you saying you refuse to prove me with any service? Now #2 pokes his head in and said something to me in hindi, a language i do not speak. SO i said «i don’t speak your language nor do i understand it now are you refusing me service for no apparent reason?» No response and they refused to help.
So i did end up going elsewhere and ended up spending thousands elsewhere. i just could not believe the rudeness. How does this place stay in business and I see it often being empty now a days. I wonder if this store is a front like Breaking Bad style (if-​ya-​know-​what-​i-​mean). Craziest retail experience I have ever had.

What a disappointment. Fantastic stuff, great prices and selection — especially compared to Edison, NJ stores — but the owrner needs to take a class in manners and go to a finishing school. In the beginning he quoted me one price and a few party outfits I was looking at and I was so happy with the prices that I continued to shop for additional items and spent quite a bit of time at his store. When the owner realized that I wasn’t going to buy some of the most expensive items he showed me — the prices on the original few that I selected went up. Fair enough — he needs to make money and probably gives discount where it makes sense. But he spent so much time explaining and talking about how his store was the best, and bragging about himself — literally lecturing — that even though I wanted to spend money there I was turned off. He has a chip on his shoulder about his competition — at times he seemed actually scary angry when talking about them.

Yes they have pretty, sparkly dresses. Yes they have modern styled outfits that I was searching for. And oh yes did I dream of myself wearing some of outfits in the window as I passed by. However after going in 3 times (yes, I did give them chances) I refuse to go in there. After seeing an amazing Diwali (holiday) «sale» I went in excited to see everything «50%» off… or so they claimed. The final sale price was just really the regular price… which had been jacked up and then put on sale. So basically no sale. There were a ton of other girls in there (like myself) excited and looking through dresses until they realized what I did. I heard one girl exclaim, «Hey this salwar kameez is not worth $ 500!» Exactly, because the sale price would have reduced it to $ 250, which is what they were already selling it for. But with all the commotion, I decided to speak to the salesgirls and see if I could find a particular type of salwar kameez, but I got no attention from them.
I returned the following week, since I really needed a dress for an occasion. I had ordered from an on line store from India, but wasn’t sure it would reach in time. The sales girl I questioned couldn’t speak English and couldn’t understand me. She told me that the owner would be back soon after calling him. I got tired of waiting for him after 20 minutes.
Frustrated, I returned a third time and was really getting anxious. The date was getting closer and I needed an outfit. Thankfully, the owner was in and there were English speaking girls on hand. The girls showed me dresses that I had seen on line for less than half the price (and I mean same outfit, same color, same everything, including shipping to your door it would’ve been less than half what they were charging). So I definitely wasn’t going to go with those. They said there were more selection in the back. Then I saw a guy on the phone in the back. this «Rahul» character. Before the salesgirl could tell him my situation, I couldn’t believe my ears. He was speaking to a female customer and was so rude that I was shocked. He was yelling at her, all the while still on the phone, telling her they don’t have anything to fit her size. Nothing here will fit you, and to try somewhere else. The manner in which he spoke to her absolutely disgusted me. She wasn’t even a big girl. She turned with tears in her eyes, and I saw she was pregnant! She said, I was only asking if you carry size 42, you don’t have to yell at me! Size 42 is not a plus size… it is size Large. How dare he yell at her or talk to her like that, she’s pregnant for god sakes! And even if she were a super plus size, that’s not way to talk to a customer or a human being for that matter! I dropped whatever was in my hand and walked out. I will Not make someone who has no concern for another human being’s feeling any richer. There are plenty other places I can shop.
P. S. My friend also mentioned they ripped her off on an Indian jewelry set she bought to match an outfit and then charged her card double. Apparently that’s what they do.

I went to this place over winter break and granted, they do have beautiful outfits, I was extremely disappointed by their customer service. The girl wouldn’t let me touch any of the bridal lengha’s and when I tried one one but didn’t like the fitting, she had the nerve to tell me thats the way its supposed to look and that if she were to wear it, it would look great on her! Well hello, its not your wedding A**, its mine!!!
Oh and when we did like an outfit for my sister, it was quoted at $ 1095, it was so not worth that much so we asked her to bargain and she told us that do we bargain at Macy’s? And that we shouldn’t have come in and tried on stuff if we weren’t willing to spend the money!!!
Oh that was it for me, my blood was boiling… never again, never again will I go there and if anyone else goes, beware, they will rip you off and ridicule you if you even ask for a bargain.
That store is totally a waste of your time, better off, go to Zahra’s Boutique in Jackson Heights, they have better customer service I ended up buying two of my wedding outfits from there.
If I could, I would give this place ZERO Stars!

This is the best and only store you should go to in Jackson Heights. Rahul carries the only fashion forward clothes on the street. If you want to dig through old school lenghas and saris in garish colors, go to any of the other stores on the street. But if you want classy, go to Armaan’s.
I went to so many stores looking for my lengha for my nikkah, and Armaan’s was the only store that had exactly what I envisioned for my wedding.
