Great place. Staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. They do so much for the community with events and workshops. We really enjoyed their swim class for our son when he was 6 months old. Basketball court is always fun too. Weights and equipment are well kept.

After doing trials at other gyms and their babysitting services, the YMCA has far exceeded my expectations! Our membership is affordable and the staff is amazing! So glad that we decided to join the YMCA!

After a couple of initial visits to work out, I’m definitely a fan of this YMCA location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Signing up is no problem and everything is clearly explained. I didn’t get the chance to get a tour, but it’s pretty easy to find your way around and locate the pool, the various locker rooms, and the upstairs area where the exercise machines are. There are lots of other things available to discover as well, including racquetball courts and places to just chill out and play a game or read a book. This YMCA has separate locker rooms for men, women, boys, and girls. I tend to go at off-times, but the availability of machines is very good. All of the machines are in good repair, clean, and modern. They have some machines I’ve never seen before, like these cycling machines where you are actually playing a game on the screen by cycling. Pretty cool. People are generally courteous but there are definitely some people with disturbing personal habits wandering around. I observed an old guy clipping his toenails in the locker room and just letting them fly everywhere. Another group of guys broke the sauna in the men’s room via«improper use», meaning they couldn’t follow directions on how to use it properly and made it disgusting. Despite those minor disturbances, it seems to be a good place to exercise thus far.

I love that this is located so close to my house. It is convenient and offers several group exercise classes throughout the day.

I remember coming here when the daily activity fee used to be only $ 3. Now it’s $ 9. Membership for an adult is $ 53/month, $ 195⁄3 mo, $ 606/year. This YMCA has a decent sized pool, locker room, kiddie pool, gym with various cardio and weight machines, racquet ball courts, basketball court, air hockey, pool table, and ping pong table. The gym is located on the 2nd floor. They also offer swimming lessons and camps for little ones. The location is right by the Ithaca Mall. I have no complaints about the facility itself: things seem to be well-maintained, lifeguard always at the pool, and things are clean. There are also a couple people seated by the gym who appeared to be trainers? They corrected my form during a couple exercises and even offered free exercise and nutrition advice. My only quibble with this YMCA is the ever-rising daily activity fee. Other than that, this is a decent place to work out.
