Established in 1976.

Handwork, Ithaca’s Cooperative Craft Store, was started in 1976 by 12 local craftspeople. Working together they could afford the cost and time of opening a retail shop to sell their work.

I adore this place for unique, sometimes pricey local items. They have textiles, prints, woodwork, glasswork, pottery and probably much more that I’m missing. it’s a great place to buy something for the person that has everything.
