Fennec Fox Tech Repair

Very friendly customer service & they fixed my (severely cracked) phone screen in about half an hour, plus ran a diagnostics test afterwords to make sure it worked. I was worried that my phone would look «clunky» after replacing the screen, something that happened to my friends phone, but it looks as good as new! It was a little pricy, but given the state of my phone it was worth it.

Came in with what I thought was a broken iPhone charger port. The guy took it in the back for a minute and cleaned the port out and it started working. (I had already cleaned it out myself, but apparently not well enough!) Anyhow, very friendly, straightforward tech guy, and didn’t charge me a cent for the pleasure!

Excellent customer service! Came in with a broken iPhone 6 screen, but the part was temporarily out of stock. Djamel loaned me one of his used screens, texted me when the parts came in, and threw in a glass screen protector for my trouble. I highly recommend Djamel and Fennec Fox Tech Repair!

Fennec Fox did a broken screen repair on my iPad 4. The job took about 3 hours and cost 90 before tax. The touch screen was repaired to perfect working condition. The technician said that I can bring it back within three months if the problem resurfaces. Friendly, reasonable prices, and fast – I highly recommend this place for any tech repair you may need!

This place is great. I dropped my phone about a month so and cracked the screen, and this company replaced the screen for a reasonable price in about a half hour. The technician was friendly and the wait pleasant.
A week ago, some dead pixels started showing up on my screen, though. I brought it in to Fennec Fox, and the technician replaced the screen and the glass screen protector for free.
I am a satisfied customer.

Personable, knowledgeable, and offers quick service at a fair price. Replaced my gimpy laptop battery and I was merrily on my way. Bonus: recent issues of National Geographic magazine in the waiting area so you have something interesting to look at while your device is being attended to.

Came in with a cracked phone screen, came out 30 min later with the screen fixed. He even ran through general diagnostics with me to make sure he did the job correctly. 80 before tax.

Have you ever woken up drunk/​hungover, looked at your phone and remembered that «goddamnit I smashed it last night»? Well now, you can literally walk to Fennec Fox Tech Repair located on Dryden, have a little hangover brunch, and get it back by the time you’re done with your food!
I just got my iPad and my S4 fixed there. Went in at 1130 AM, and got them back at 2.05PM. He (I forgot to get his name) did an excellent job, both of my devices look brand new! The prices are also not only reasonable but actually might be the best I’ve seen, either in the city or in Ithaca. He knows exactly how to run a business, offering appropriate discounts depending on the type of repair you need. While you shouldn’t go in expecting to get anything fixed for 20 bucks, the prices he offers are extremely competitive.
All in all an excellent experience, and while I hope I never have to go back in, I will definitely choose Fennec Fox for all my tech repair needs. (I swear I did not receive any compensation for this review; I’m just trying to help an honest, new business out!)

Fast and cheap!!!
I am so glad I found this place. My screen shattered and I immediately contacted the owner and he was so helpful with all the information I needed to see which location would be good and cheap to fix my phone. He was nice enough to wait for me before closing and quickly fixed my phone. It looks brand new. I would really recommend this place.

I first contacted them through their website’s contact form and they responded promptly within an hour. My whole visit took less than 30 min .
The technician was very nice and respectful. Since I was there in the morning around 11 there wasn’t a wait. I went for inquiries about fixing my old Samsung Galaxy S II and cutting my SIM card into a microSIM for my new OnePlus One.

— Offered a free diagnostic, which I didn’t take since my budget was only $ 30 and didn’t want to waste their time. (the phone is too old to worth more than that)
— Didn’t insist and bother me when I refused the service.
SIM card ($ 5, less than 5min)
— SIM card works as expected (calling and LTE), contacts are retained.
— Technician double checked to make sure all functionality are retained
— Technician double checked that sim card and new phone are compatible (locked phone or not, format of card) before cutting the card and didn’t just blindly took my word for the format.
— The price is exactly the same as I have expected. Even though there are other options such as DIY or wait until summer and go back to my service provider in my hometown I think the price is worth the hassle I saved.
Overall, a pleasant experience.
