Platinum Converting provides Die-​Cutting, Film Laminating, UV Coating and associated post-​press finishing services to the Graphic Arts Industry. Our die-​cutting department includes 7 high speed die-​cutters, blanking, large sheet die-​cutting up to 60.5“x82.5″ and PMC die-​cutting up to 13“x13″. We do overall, tight register spot, and knockout UV coating (for glue flaps, etc.) in gloss, satin & matte finishes. We laminate with all available thermal laminating films as well as apply pressure sensitive adhesive, barrier film and floor graphic materials. We can do 1 side, 2 sides, and sealed edge in thicknesses from 1.7 mil to 10 mil. A variety of finishes are available.

In our finishing department, we offer straight cutting, die cutting, PMC die cutting, mounting, folding & gluing (including automatic tipping), drilling, round cornering, eyeletting, grommetting, easels, string & button, taping (pressure sensitive & foam), tabbing, padding, handwork, collating, fulfillment and shrink wrapping. We have 2 shifts working variable hours to meet your production needs. Delivery is available by van or straight truck. Give us a call! History

Established in 1998.

Established in 1998, Platinum Converting has grown from a small finishing company with one laminator and one UV coater in a 15,000 square foot facility to a provider of a full menu of finishing services all under a 120,000 square foot roof!

Platinum Converting is conveniently located in the suburbs of Chicago at 851 Expressway Drive in Itasca, Illinois. We are easily accessible via major toll roads and expressways in the Chicago land area.
