I have been a patient off and on for over four years with Dr Bushnell at this location and it wasn’t until recently that the customer service and respect from the front desk and staff who handle the booking began to go down hill. When I started coming to him, I had Group Health Insurance and then made the switch to Aetna. Last years towards the end of the year I went through some major financial loss and subsequently had to make some changes and one of those changes leading into 2015 was my health insurance. In March of 2015 I had to have some coverage and was put on the Washington Apple Health (basically) DSHS insurance until my new insurance kicked in with my job. When I called and told them that I was on this state health insurance and they said it was fine. Appointment one down, all ok. Come in for my follow up appointment, everything fine, Dr Bushnell asks me to please make another follow up. I am asked to speak to their rebooking lady and she tells me they can’t take the insurance unless I have seen Bushnell in the last three years and I had so she would call me and to plan on coming to my follow up. Well, I don’t receive a phone call from her confirming the appointment or canceling it and so I wait to get the complimentary phone call concerning my appointment and it doesn’t come. WHICH leads me to yesterday. I call and am sent to their booking line. That woman who answers, ask for my name and after providing me her info with the confusion on why NO one called to tell me it was canceled, she abruptly let’s me know they don’t take the insurance and wishes me a best of luck and starts to hang up… IF THEY READ THEIR NOTES, they would have seen I am starting a new health insurance as of June and had told them back when I tried to make my third follow up and that they could leave the appointment because either way I could have paid cash for the appointment with Dr Bushnell. I explain this all to the woman who is taking my call and she is clearly in a hurry to hang up and end the call with me that she says oh I’ll just have someone from his team call you. Takes down my number and hangs up. DID ANYONE CALL ME… NOPE. And I have one more medicine in my prescription that needs a refill, I am calling again in the morning because this is insane. I haven’t felt this humiliated and disrespected in all my life… DO YOU HONESTLY THINK I WANTED SOME DSHS CRAP STATE GOVERMENT INSURANCE!!! So if you’re going to discriminate based off an insurance card, YOU MIGHT WANT TO LISTEN TO THE STORY AND REASON FROM THE HUMAN BEING YOURE WORKING WITH!!! HAVE SOME FUCKING COMPASSION AND ANSWER YOUR PATIENTS QUESTIONS AND ACTUALLY HEAL AND HELP! Health care is going to fucking crap. Next you’ll see a damn menu asking if you’d like to super size your choice!!! You will be hearing from me !!!

Rushed service, came in for hand injury. Didn’t even change the bandage or put anything on for treatment. Thinking of changing to another office, just wanted to get me in and out, brushed off injury.

There is now a completely new office staff and they are GREAT!

I have had recent visits with Drs. Kirshner and Aron, and both encounters were very positive experiences. Down to earth, patient, fully addressed my medical concerns, and offered practical advice. I didn’t have much interaction with the support staff, but they were on time and professional.
