Description

Specialties

I have a family practice in acupuncture and Chinese herbology and work with many different health concerns with people of all ages, including children. I have a lot of experience treating pain, headache, digestive disorders, respiratory problems and women’s health concerns. I welcome complex issues that are not responding well to other forms of treatment.

History

Established in 1995.

I actually began work in healthcare in 1988 as a massage practitioner. The desire to learn and provide broader care soon led to my studies in Chinese medicine at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. That fine school has since been absorbed by Bastyr University.

My massage practice gave me the flexibility to work unusual hours as I attended classes and interned at the school clinic, as well as great practice and insight into working closely with people.

For several years I practiced both Chinese medicine and massage therapy. Now, my focus is on Chinese medicine, but I still use a hands-on approach in diagnostic processes and care.

Since 1990, my work has had its home in Old Town Issaquah. From my desk, I have a view of the beautiful hills that grace our town.
