Hair is my passion!

I have been in the hair industry for many years and am driven by keeping current with the latest techniques and styles in our field. I have clients with wavy, curly hair and have been searching for years to find a technique to tame frizzy, curly hair. When I came across the Ouidad technique I realized I found the answer to the unwanted pyramid look and the unwanted frizz!

Lisa has been cutting my hair for many years and she is always professional and does an awesome job. She also cuts my kids’ hair and they just love her! Stephanie has also colored my daughter’s hair and my daughter absolutely loves the color every time! I would very highly recommend Studio Trend Hair Design. Finding a hair new hair stylist in a new city is never fun. After unsatisfactory visits elsewhere and unsuccessful attempts at reaching someone I’m so happy I found Stephanie! She responded immediately and is always very professional. I have curly, thick hair and it is a challenge to cut correctly. Not a problem for Stephanie! She’s continues to be educated in the business and has great suggestions for color. I’m a very happy Studio Trend Hair Design client. Great location with garage parking. I highly recommend going!

Stephanie is Amazing! I have curly hair which often drives my nuts and feels flat and boring. So I call this place couple of times, they don’t pick up. I make the effort to go to their place and say that I’m looking for hair color and hair cut, they tell me to call them. I mention that no one picked up, can you help me book an appointment now. They say call them. How snobbish and rude. Very disappointed with the attitude.

I have been going to Lisa at Studio Trend for a Ouidad cut on a regular basis for over two years. She always does an amazing job with my curly hair and I get many compliments on both the cut and color which she does also. Lisa has great suggestions whenever I want to change my hair up a bit and is super professional and experienced with Ouidad cuts so I always leave happy. Stephaine is the only hair stylist that I trust. I have been going to her for the last 2 years. Stephanie is always staying up to date on new hair styles and techniques. She always answers all my questions, will give advice on my hair if I’m not sure of what to do next with it and always has flexible days to get in for an appointment. I recommend everyone to her!!! I am so lucky to have found Lisa and Studio Trend. She does an amazing job with my curls and really listens to me about what style I want. She doesn’t push products which I appreciate (even though I buy them because they are great.) I had car trouble one day and had to cancel my appointment 30 minutes before I was supposed to be at her salon. Lisa was incredibly gracious and proactively texted me later that day and offered me another appointment the following week. Amazing customer service! I get a lot of compliments on my hair – not only for the cut but also the color and highlights. I definitely recommend Studio Trend!

I’ve had 4 or 5 Ouidad cuts here by both Stephanie and Lisa and have always left happy! The most recent was just yesterday. After a horrible incident with at-​home hair dyes I had to quickly find a hairdresser that would get this mess fixed by the next day for a school dance. Ceann booked me in the next day and completely fixed my hair with a soft ombré/​balayage. The staff here are super friendly and the salon is very cute and clean!

Lisa W is AMAZING with curls and kinks! She took both my daughters hair from bulky, and frizzy to soft, manageable and beautiful! The Ouidad cut and styling training was worth every penny.

If you have curly hair, you know the frustration of trying to find a stylist trained to cut curly hair. A lot of people can make hair look good in the salon — or even for a week or two. Lisa’s cuts, though, man — they last me for months and months.
If you don’t know what a Ouidad cut is, you really should look it up. That’s what Lisa is trained to do and there aren’t many people out here who are trained in this method. A stylist has to go back to New York for training in this process. Basically, each curl is sculpted and shaped. So yes, it costs more than a regular cut. But it also takes the stylist a lot longer to do. And if you have curly hair, it’s worth it. Oh my god, it’s worth it.
Lisa herself is a doll. The salon is clean and bright. She books out in advance, but she’s always gotten me in pretty fast.
