if your looking for a party at Party@Display and Costume, you’d have more fun at a mortuary. The service is like getting blood from a stone. They are so bad at their jobs, they didn’t charge me for everything and I was so pissed by their attitude that oops, I didn’t stop them.

Our business does a few events every year — and we need helium to blow up balloons. The events are usually several week apart. So, what we like to do is rent a large tank and keep it for a month or two.
Around the time we moved to Issaquah, we stopped by Party at Display & Costume to check their prices on the tanks. They were comparable to the place in Lynnwood we’d been using for a couple years because of their low price.
And, we got an added bonus. Our last round of events had a «Frozen» theme (the movie). We’d planned on ordering much of the decorations on Amazon. But, while we were scheduling our helium tank, we quickly realized these guys had all the Frozen stuff we needed.
One stop shopping for us. We’ll definitely be back.

What a great store. I had driven by several times and finally decided to stop. We had received a 20%off coupon in our recent ValPack. With my son’s upcoming birthday party, I decided at the very least, I would order the balloons at the store with my coupon. Not only did they a huge selection of balloons, they had every costume known to man. There were several isles of Halloween decorations. I was impressed with all party options when it comes to themes. They had little toys and trinkets for goody bags as well as baking and decorating stuff for cakes. I found everything I needed at this one store and found their prices to be competitive. I loved not having to make a drive to Bellevue. I will use this store in the future for all my party needs. They also handed my 3 year old a balloon while I was checking out and that made his day.

Worst experience ever! I just went in to EXCHANGE the wrong colored plates I purchased and could not locate my receipt. The store manager was horrible! She told me it was not a day to do returns with all the balloon orders and wanted me to leave my phone number and they would call me. The total return was $ 10.00 and she could not let me just exchange them for the same plate but a different color. I will NEVER shop at this store again and would rather drive in to Redmond since they will let you return without receipts and give store credit. Don’t waste your time at this location.

I decided to give the «new» location a try in Issaquah hoping for a better experience than the last one at the old location.
I have to tell you… It was by far WORSE than previous experience. I went in on Sunday, August 18^th at 12:30PM. It was NOT busy with approximately 4 other people in the store. I was trying to scramble and get some last minute gifts for my daughter’s birthday party that day.
I wasn’t looking for anything in particular but was neither greeted when I walked in the store (I didn’t see anyone in the front at all) and I was passed TWICE by the same two ladies who worked there who neither made eye contact or acknowledged by existence. It’s not like I needed to have my hand held but they could have at least said hello.
I finally found a few items and took them to the front of the store where I found NO ONE! I wandered around to see if I could find someone and then came back to the register and found someone standing there. As I handed her my things to check out, she neither looked at me or acknowledged my existence either. She was looking at the register when she asked if I needed a bag and that was the end of the conversation. No thank you or have a nice day.
I am not looking for someone to fall over themselves to help me, however acknowledging your customer base is a nice start. This wasn’t ONE employee but All of the collective employees in the store. This is very problematic.
It’s unfortunate that whomever is running the store is not familiar with social media otherwise you would think some of these reviews would be addressed and promptly.
I will NOT return, EVER.

I am fed up with this «locally owned family business» — I really don’t care who owns the store. They are rude and grossly overpriced. I drive from Issaquah to Redmond and shop at Everything Party — it’s worth the extra drive to not deal with this stores ridiculous return policy; rude and unhelpful employees; and over-​priced items. Don’t waste your time or your money. Oh… and don’t stop in the store 15 minutes prior to closing… they will boot you out faster than they will rip you off with their prices. Get on board «locally owned family business» you owe it to your «local community of shoppers». No «family» feel about this place.

It’s somewhat overwhelming but in a good way.
Being a person that likes to dress-​up & plan parties this place is the absolute eutophia as far as getting supplies I need in order to fulfill my creativeness!
The employees were really helpful & didn’t mind dropping what they were doing in order to make sure I found what I needed. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Would I go here again? Of course, if I am in the area.
I also go to their Everett location & Seattle locations depending on where I am at.

I have shopped here for many years and have had no problem and have always loved the variety they had. However over the last month and planning a wedding let’s say I have been in there almost every day buying more and more items. In total over $ 500.00 in decorations and misc items. I have a few items to return about $ 20.00 worth. I have never been treated so horribly for returning items! Apparently they do not understand that at times you do need to return items since you do not need them. They would only accept three items totalling $ 6.00. I will donate the other items as I do not need them and will NEVER shop here again!!! Be sure if you purchase here that you keep every receipt, that you return items within 30 days not a day later and that they are still in stock!

I came in here yesterday looking around for some accessories for a party I have this weekend. They have a great selection for Halloween costumes, décor and party supplies but man-​o-​man is this place over priced.
I was looking at some sequin hats and they wanted anywhere from $ 12 – 20 I thought that was a little much. Then I went to look at little flimsy sequined masked and those were $ 5! I should have probably just gone to Red Light or a Craft Store.
I couldn’t believe how much they rip people off.
But the good part is, I found what I am going to be for halloween: D

Great customer service in the balloon department. I love the selection! I went earlier in the day around 2pm, so they were not busy. I will certainly go to this place again for future birthday needs!

Stopped in to get some gear for the Seahawks game and got everything I needed!
This place has tons of costumes, wigs, makeup and everything you need from a party/​costume store– even when it’s not Halloween!

Lots of costumes available year round, rather than just at Halloween. They do have a good selection of party goods (paper goods, favors, etc.). You can get balloons at $ 9.99 for a dozen standard balloons. They also have a pretty good supply of seasonal decorations (Valentines, St. Patrick’s, Mardi Gras, etc.). Rentals are available and if they do not have it in the Issaquah store, they can get it from the Seattle store, but with a delivery fee. The employees are nice and helpful and do seem to have a good handle on what is available in the store.
One frustration, I found a great vinyl tablecloth that I wanted for a party and bought it and a couple of days later found it for 40% less at Party City. That was a pretty large difference which made me question the prices through the rest of the store. I understand that Party City is a large chain and has much stronger buying power, and I’m willing to pay more for convenience and to support a local business, but I thought a 40% difference was too much.

Live in or near the ‘Quah? Want a vast array of costumes and accessories to choose from, and friendly help? Don’t drive too far! Head straight here for all of that, plenty of party supplies and an amazing selection of Halloween decorations! I thought we were going to have to drive to Auburn or Kent to one of those seasonal stores, but we got hooked up close to home.
