First time ordering from Papa John’s and disappointing. Better Ingredients? Not really enough toppings to be able to tell. This was the skimpiest topping pizza I have ever had. Sorry Peyton, you backed a nag. Lots of other pizza joints in Issaquah that deliver and have better pizza. Plus it was cold upon arrival.

I am a huge person on employee interaction and customer service, but this was far by the worst. The manager im assuming because of her tone yelled at a girl on the phone placing an order for not being fast enough. I felt bad when the manager pointed at the line of people, but what can the girl do shes on the phone. I felt bad for her so i told the manager i would be fine waiting till she was done. When she got off the phone she immediately helped me along with two others behind me promptly for carry out. I told her she was doing a great job and deserves better. She smiled. I would give this location more stars but this seemed like a horrible place to work.

I used to love Papa John’s Pizza, but will no longer be a customer. I ordered on-line delivery on Monday evening, 7⁄6 for a pizza and breadsticks, for a total of $ 25.70. I see their delivery charge has increased quite a bit since I last ordered pizza(I only order a few times a year). I felt the delivery fee, tax, surcharge was getting outrageous. After my pizza was delivered 50 minutes after placing my order, I no longer felt inclined to pay a tip for such late service. I signed my receipt, writing down the total amount to be charged of $ 25.70 and a zero for the tip(sorry). I see today on my bank statement that I was charged $ 35.70. Who wrote in the $ 10 tip? I called the Manager, BJ, and told him of the situation. He said he would refund the amount, but had no apology or explanation for how the $ 10 tip was mysteriously written on the receipt and charged. I asked him to please speak to his employees, because someone wrote in the amount, not me. If Papa John’s allows their employees to be that dishonest and steals from their customers, I will no longer be a customer to support them. I am happy to tip and do so when it is deserved, but don’t appreciate being charged a tip I never gave and for their employees to steal from me. I hope I see my refund soon. A suggestion to anyone still choosing to be a customer of theirs… pay in cash!

Tried to order online and redeem one of the free pizzas… There is some sort of a glitch with their online system… Phone the store to place your order to redeem the free pizza and it could not be done. Was told to call the website to get help ordering online. The issue is not that I don’t know how to order online… The issue is that there is a glitch in the system and it would not take cash or credit cards for payment — seeing as we were going to be picking up the pizza I would’ve thought we could pay at the store. Store manager was not able to help… just kept repeating that we should phone the website help people. Feels like a scam when you spend money to earn rewards and then are not able to use the rewards. Heading to Dominos.

Ordered a double deal pizzas for delivery. They arrived quickly however the pizzas were over-cooked, cold and rock hard. I called the manager and explained that I was trying to feed a handful of hungry kids that wouldn’t even touch the pizza. He immediately made two more and had them delivered right away. Was very happy to see the customer service where it should be after spending $ 30 on pizza for kids. Thank you to a good manager!

Nearly 2 years later and I wanted to update this review. Within the past year we have regularly(2x month) ordered from this Papa John’s with no problems with our order. Delivery has been quick, too.

Our to-go order was ready in 10 to 15 minutes, and we received a discount for walking in to order. We’ve had Papa John’s before, when we lived in Indiana, but it was less expensive here. Sweet! We’re very happy customers right now, and can’t wait to dig in!

Was bummed. Ordered online so I would get credit towards rewards. Was there to pick it up 20 minutes later when they said it would be ready. My two sausage pizzas looked old, and tasted that way. And my pepperoni was good. I was upset, how hard is it to make sure all the pizzas in an order are fresh and cooked at the same time? I will only give them one more chance.

Super annoyed. I ordered 3 pizzas(1 with frequent customer credit on app) for my kids before my husband and I left for a work date last night at 6:20. Papa John’s to be exact from their app. At 8:00PM after several calls from the kids to Papa John’s: 1st call: They said they didn’t have order – must be a different store 2nd call: They told my kids they had«completed» the order 3rd call: Finally, «oh it was the wrong address») and promises to redeliver. Totally were yanking my kids around and probably ate the pizza. all this time, my kids are calling me, calling other stores, I am emailing recipt to them to verify our order, Guess what? The kids never got their dinner. PJ said the original problem was that our address was off by one number(I have changed it 3x in the app and it always reverts). Please note with that one off error, pizzas have still been delivered in the past at least twice. It’s not hard to figure out it’s between two houses. Seriously – our house number in app says ***7 instead what it should of ***8. Whatever. My kids told them correct address. They put us at the back of the queue and said another 1 hr 20 min. This was at 8. At 10:30 still no pizza! Lots of excuses… second time call for non-delivery – oh there was a miscommunication and they never made the pizzas. Oops! Their response to their screw up? We can deliver in over an hour 15 minutes AGAIN! They could deliver at midnight? WTHPJ’s? This is becoming a habit. And what the heck is wrong with your app and customer service? When you know you screwed up TWICE, you should put our pizza to the front of the line and drive the 10 minutes to our house in 30 min max – NOT tell my kids twice they would need to wait another 1 hr 20 minutes because of YOUR screw up. A promise of a refund and free pizza sort of doesn’t cut it when it takes over 4 hours for NON-DELIVERY and no dinner for my kids. I better receive my refund for my order. I am not sure I will be ordering from your establishment-free $ 5 pizza or not – again. /RANT OVERFORNOW/

I received a Papa John’s flyer in the mail that showed a promotion offering buy 1 large pizza, get 1 free. So my boyfriend placed an order with the local Papa Johns, only the employee charged us $ 20 +tax, which is at odds with the pricing shown online(any large pizza for $ 12 up to 5 toppings). On top of that, we’d ordered extra garlic sauce, which also did not arrive with the delivery. What is this, false advertising? You send us a print flyer, we want you to honor it, along with the extra garlic sauce!

Kuddos for Sarah in your Issaquah, WA store. Shortly after ordering dinner last night we noticed a problem with our food. I contacted Sarah and she listened to what I had to say, apologized and immediately took care of the problem. We will definitely be returning for more pizza!

First time for me to try pizza from here because of the free pizza promotion during the Super Bowl. The ordering over the Internet made it super easy to order specifically what exactly you want on your pizza. You also can choose all the different side items like sodas and breads if you want. The service here was quick and friendly which is always a plus for a fast food place. The pizza was not bad as I ordered a half pepperoni and half sausage. It could of used a little more topping, but overall I was satisfied. It was what I had expected compared to other delivery pizza like Dominoes or Pizza Hut.

Used a coupon to get a large 3 topping pizza. Never tried this chain, didn’t know what to expect. It’s not close to us, many other pizza places are closer. The pizza was very good. Probably as good as any we’ve ever had. For pizza, for us, if we had to pay for this pizza it would be too expensive, $ 17.00 plus, for walk in. We can get a very good pizza from a close by Papa Murphy’s for less, and a good pizza from the local Safeway for even less. One drawback of this take out or delivery is the pie cools off before we get home to eat it. So the pizza is quite good, a 4 or 5 star pie. The price is perhaps fair. We won’t be going back, not close enough to us.

We’ve ordered both delivery and take-away and usually have a good experience. I used them a lot to feed hungry construction workers staying late to work on our new house — it did the trick! I like that they will supply paper plates, paper cups, plastic utensils and napkins on request. That was a biggie for us during construction! We also were offered some really good specials when calling in – pizzas and soda for an excellent price! Pizzas are always hot and my one negative experience was actually a positive one in disguise… As I was walking in to pick up my latest construction pies, I heard someone call out«remake large works» — I soon realized that it was MY pizza and I was told the original didn’t meet their«standards» and so couldn’t be released to me. I ended up waiting around 12 minutes for a new pizza but it met their standards and the carpenters were also happy. Their new Papa Rewards program for on-line ordering also has some promise. It’s not NY pizza but it’s consistent and reasonably priced AND they’ll bring it to the front door!

We’ve ordered pizza from here a few times. It’s always hot when it arrives, they have great coupons and the staff are friendly. Last night we ordered the Tuscan Six Cheese, it was on special for $ 11. It fed 3 of us plus leftovers for lunch today! I placed my order online, which is so quick and convenient. It was delivered within the estimated delivery time I was given. The driver was very friendly and personable. Good pizza for the price, will order from here again!

I have ordered from Papa Johns only a couple times from this location and each time there was something wrong. The first time, I ordered 2 Large pizzas with specific things on them and when I got them, BOTH pizzas were completely wrong. When I took them back in, the gentleman I talked to did apologize and fix it for me. The pizzas were not bad after that and he was so nice I got over the whole thing pretty quickly. This time, I ordered another 2 pizzas, cheesy bread, soda, and wings(spending a pretty good amount of money). Although the toppings were correct, both the pizza and the cheese sticks arrived undercooked and extremely soggy. My boyfriend and I were in the middle of moving and didnt have time to figure out a fix or have time to eat anywhere else so I threw everything in the oven myself to make it tolerable. I have to say that I really have NEVER had pizza that bad before and I have had some really bad pizza. I cant say if I will actually be returning to Papa Johns again. I am giving them 2 starts only because the man I talked to was so nice.

I’ve ordered from this location many times. We do live very close, but this is the only delivery I’ve ever had that burned my mouth on the first bite(which is a good thing!). For the money, the pizza we’ve had has been very good, delivery is always prompt and the driver’s are friendly. No complaints at all!

Half a star for the pizza, and only because the menu has some variety. But none of it was very good. Nothing had those fresh flavors that make food good. Another half star for a large pizza that costs $ 10. See the first paragraph and recall the Latin phrase«caveat emptor». One star for online ordering. That’s cool. Not telling you estimated delivery time until after you pay, not so cool, but the delivery guy did beat the estimated delivery time.

Summary: No food review here, only feedback about their dangerous delivery drivers. Since they opened a year or so ago, I’ve noticed numerous pimply-faced teenage delivery boys flying through the Fred Meyer parking lot trying to beat traffic in the main road by cutting down the parking aisles at a high rate of speed. In the past, I’ve thought that was unsafe, but never said or did anything about it. Yesterday, while leaving the local Starbucks, my wife and I were almost hit, so I’ve decided to speak up. The delivery car in question was a maroon Chevrolet 4-door of recent vintage, traveling at an excessive rate of speed, sporting the Papa John’s delivery sign on its’ roof. Immediately after almost being struck, I called the source restaurant and relayed details of our near miss, including the time, date, license and description of the car, to a bored and dis-interested sounding phone order taker at the restaurant. My impression was that the message would make it no further than this person, so I’m going public. If you see unsafe driving by Papa John’s delivery people, call the restaurant to report it. If they hit somebody, the restaurant has been warned publicly that their drivers/agents are operating in an unsafe manner, but have failed to act to stop the situation. I am not urging you to do anything here, but my family and I will boycott this particular Papa John’s location in order to send the only message that appears to get through: bad behavior by your drivers/agents results in economic penalty — simple as that.
