Description

Specialties

The Northwestern United States offers an abundance of climbing opportunities. Spectacular guided mountain climbs can be found on the volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest, including Mt. Rainier, one of the most popular climbs. In addition to Mount Rainier, Mount Baker the second largest glaciated peak in the lower 48 states offers an excellent experience for those seeking to further their skills in the mountains. Mt. Shuksan, Shale Peak, Eldorado Peak as well as Forbidden Peak all located in North Cascades NP otherwise know as the «American Alps» offer a mix of glaciated terrain and alpine rock within a spectacular scenic landscape. Across the Puget Sound, Mount Olympus located within Olympic NP provides a true wilderness experience through the Hoh Rain Forest to the Blue Glacier and it’s rocky summit.

We also offer mountaineering instruction during our one-day, four-day, six-day and nine-day alpine mountaineering schools. As well as Alpine rock climbing and single-pitch rock instruction near Snoqualmie Pass just 30 minutes East of Seattle. In the winter we offer Backcountry skiing and Avalanche awareness and safety courses. Discover your passion and climb with Northwest Alpine Guides located in Issaquah, WA, located at the foothills of the Pacific Cascade Range.
