We specialize in new installations of sprinkler systems for residences with existing landscapes. We also install new sprinkler systems in newly built residences without existing landscape.

We perform all services for residential sprinkler system. We offer a spring start up service, where we turn on your sprinkler system, run through all of the zones to check for leaks or breaks, and check all sprinkler heads for proper operation and adjustments. If there are coverage issues we recommend possible solutions.

We perform the annual backflow tests that are required for the backflow assembly that is installed in every system.

We perform winterization service in the fall, where we «blow out» the system with an air compressor.

Lastly, we perform repairs on all residential system.

History

Established in 1983.

My name is Bob Darnall and I am the owner of Alpine Sprinklers, Inc. In 1983 I started my business in Wenatchee, WA. I passed out flyers door to door and sold a few jobs and then the word of mouth took over and before I knew it I was working 14 hour days, 6 days a week as a one man operation. By 1986 I began installing sprinkler system in Redmond, WA for customers that I had installed for homes in Lake Chelan. Business expanded rapidly from «word of mouth» and in 1988 I moved to Issaquah full time and turned over all my Wenatchee customers to a previous employee.

By 1997, my back was having issues, so I hired Juan, who I had met at a local café in Issaquah. Within a year three of his brothers came to work for me. I became a full time estimator and business continued growing.

Currently, two of the brothers and three of the nephews work for me, along with my son. I have a full time office manager also. Business has continued growing, because of the quality of all of my employees.

I went to work for Wood’y Sprinklers in Couer d’ Alene, Idaho in 1973. I worked there for 2 years until they went out of business. In 1975, I started Darnall’s Sprinklers in Coeur d’ Alene. I was 23 years old. Business was very successful, but 1982 I sold the business with the idea of becoming a life insurance agent. After one year of that I determined that I wasn’t cut out to be a salesman. So in 1983 I moved to Wenatchee Washington and started Alpine Sprinklers. Business grew rapidly and currently I am still managing it and loving it.
