History

Established in 2013.

I started volunteering at a local animal shelter. I have loved dogs my whole life. While I was volunteering, I kept saying to myself; «I wish I could do this for a living»… and here you have Au Pair for paws. I specialize in dog walking and dog sitting and am well versed in dogs with «issues». Doing something you love is a wonderful thing, taking care of your pets would be my priviledge.

Business Owner

Meagan Giarratano has been a lover of animals, especially dogs since she was a child.

She grew up with one cat, Milo and with much convincing to her parents, finally got her first dog, a Portuguese Water Dog, Bailey. From there, her love for dogs took off.

This year she started volunteering at a local animal shelter. She ended up fostering, training and eventually adopting her dog Chase (seen in the picture on the left). She realized how much she loved spending her time at the shelter walking the dogs and teaching them basic obedience. She wished she could do more work like this. But of course, there was her job. With a lot of thinking and planning, she decided to make her passion into what she does on a daily basis… And here you have Au Pair for Paws!
