We have been clients of Leith and Wendy Morse at Nordic Marine for over a decade. He has serviced all our boats — including offshore high performance, express cruiser, ski boat and miscellaneous watercraft. He is a highly sought-after master marine technician both in the Delta and in the Bay — our friends with large boats have been equally pleased with his services. He is currently conducting a pre-purchase mechanical inspection for us on our next boat(Cummins diesels). I would not consider buying a vessel without his inspection/evaluation in advance. Without question he is the most qualified(and honest) technician we have ever dealt with. His expertise has saved us thousands of dollars in repairs and expense. As a retired US Navy officer and pilot I have very high standards for mechanical competence — with his background as a military technician(US Marine Corps) Leith Morse/Nordic Marine consistently meet and exceed our expectations.

Stay Far away from this company. I had Laith the owner rebuild my motors on my boat back in 2007 and install a closed radiator system. Had problems right from the start. Both engines leaked oil from day one. He actualy reused the old spark plugs on the new motors and old rotors and cap. I’ve had nothing but problems with the rebuilt motors. Tried to get him back out to fix the problems and can not get a return call. 4 years after he rebuilt my motors one of the hoses to the closed sytem radiator that he installed blew out and I tried to get it replaced. Contacted the manufacturer of the system and explained the hose I needed. Sent the manufacturer a picture of the motors showing the radiators that Laith installed and found out that they were installed backwards. In the manufacturers own words, He has never seen a more butchered installation and mickey mouse job in his life. Laith not only installed the sytem backwards, but he used hoses that no one can match. I use to find shop vac;s left in my engine room after he worked on my boat, oil syfining pumps, he use to leave these thing in the engine room and I would find them out of chance checking the engine room. Some of the items showed signs of rubbing against the engine because they were left in front of the fan belt. Like I said stay far away from this company, they are bad news. Now I will have to hire a real mechanic & replace the butchered closed system.
