What a gem! Isabel and Alex run this lovely inn to benefit their organization . All of the profits from the inn go to micro lending. The inn itself is simple with smallish rooms and comfortable old furniture. It feels kind of like a country cottage, sort of rundown but clean and with a warmth and friendly vibe that makes you want to stay forever. Isabel and Alex could not be more welcoming. We arrived kind of early but were made to feel right at home. There were just one other couple staying that weekday evening but Isabel’s parents stopped by and we joined them for a delicious dinner(available for a very modest price) of kabobs with fresh veggies from their garden. We ate on the front lawn overlooking the lake as the sun set. In the morning, after a hearty breakfast we left, feeling as though we had met a group of truly extraordinary people that we will remember for a lifetime!
