Our mother died 3 months ago and my sisters and I gathered to organize and clear out her stuff a heartbreaking and exhausting task, because my mother never threw anything away. After 20 trips to goodwill and filling the garage 5 times, we were ready to hire a hauling service, 2 charities promised they’d come between ‘7am-​and 5pm’. and would only take certain items. We dragged everything to the curb, they never showed up and we had the pleasure of hauling everything back into the garage n the freezing pouring rain. Along can college hunks. they were here at 8AM and done in 30 minutes. they are polite, professional, confirmed and adorable. The garage is empty. Our stuff is donated not trashed. Yes, the Viet Nam Vets and Brothers and Sisters don’t charge, but I’d pay someone show up when they promise, call to confirm, and take everything. cannot say enough good things.

Garbage service. Management doesn’t know what the hell they’re doing. They showed up 7 HOURS LATE for an 11am furniture donation appointment with a different crew than was originally scheduled, charged a small fortune (by 6pm with no other options you’re stuck with their onsite «no-​pressure estimate») and then when we got our Goodwill receipt TWO WEEKS LATER it was BLANK!!! Now we have to go back and fill it out from memory.
They tout their Goodwill service as so convenient. That’s BS. To be fair to the workers that showed up, they were great. Especially considering that they were exhausted from working all day and had this job thrown at them at the last minute.
But whoever is running this place needs to be fired immediately.

These people are the worst ever, they are not moving men! They destroy almost everything i owned. There was a hole in the truck and half my stuff was soaked due to rain storm coming into truck. Broke things, ripped things, scratched and dented things. Took out extra insurance and they said that’s not what it’s for… they are all assholes at this place and no one returns calls. Spend the extra money and get real moving men!!! This site won’t let you post without a star, they deserve no stars! They don’t care what they do to people’s stuff cause they are only in it for the money!!!

The hunks just left!
A few weeks ago I brought my wife to a car show. My wife just loves to hear me rattle on about how bolt patterns on a Dodge are different from a Chevy. She sees a sign that says «COLLEGE HUNKS» and drags me over to a booth.
I start talking to the guys about a junky hot tub that needs to be chopped up and hauled away.
Sure, hot tubs are our speciality. I’m thinking, Hulk on! (Hulk or Hunks, same thing!)
These guys, very professional. They called me on Thursday reminding me about my Saturday appointment then called me this morning to say their on the way. College Hunks with good manners, nice.
The guys came this morning, evaluated the hot tub removal and went to work.
They left the area clean and were quick and efficient. You can’t ask for better service.

I called CHHJ on Sun., 10÷11÷15, and hired them on 10÷12÷15. They showed up at my storage unit on time, were very polite and informative about their procedure. They gave me a good price, and diligently moved all the items. I was very happy to learn that all could be donated. It was a very positive experience, and I will definitely tell family and friends about them. I will probably use them again.

We hired College Hunks for our move from Western Nassau to Western Suffolk and could not have been happier with the service we were provided. Our movers, Kyle, Billy, Greg, & Kyle, showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently to get our furniture and belongings on the truck. When we arrived to the new house, they placed all of our things where they belonged and helped us get everything set up. They were nice, funny, and a pleasure to work with. They truly made our day stress-​free! After the long process of buying a home, they made moving into it the easiest part. Thank you so much!

We hired them to move our mom from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apt. about 15 miles away on Sat 5÷16÷2015. The movers, Rich, Chris & Dan were extremely professional, courteous and showed up on time. They wrapped everything carefully and placed things exactly where we wanted at the new home. They were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!
