Do the mechanics here have any training at all? Parts changers that just throw parts at the problem, at your cost, until they either fix the problem or tell you to take it to the dealer.

I liked Sharp Auto for a long time. Thought they were the best, recommended them to everybody.
Then I needed a brake job. On all 4 wheels, and was quoted $ 1300, P&L. I thought that sounded a bit expensive.
Since I’m not automotively ignorant, I went online and found out how much the parts cost, since they told me what parts they’d need. I already knew their labour charge.
I took my car to a shop that did it for $ 800. I don’t mind someone making a profit… that’s great, profit is a good thing. I DO mind being gouged.
