Stay away from this shop! Had my Chrysler 300 SRT8 in there shop recently because it was involved in a collision and everything went smoothly initially, they seemed to be polite and work was being completed on schedule. I picked up my car, it wasn’t perfect but it was hit a tricky spot to fix so I didn’t make a big deal about it. Couple weeks after completion of the work, and maybe a 100 miles put on my car I started to notice a clunking coming from the rear of the car were the work was completed so I immediately contacted the shop to notify the owner of the problem. He was very rude from the get go, but told me to bring the car back as I did. I get to the shop and the owner takes a look at my car personally and immediately gets very defensive that it had to be coincidence that I was having problems with car where they had done the work in the rear of my vehicle (rear bumper sounded like it was going to fall off). He reluctantly took the 10 min to stabilize it and continued to say it was coincidence or something I had done my self. They don’t stand behind there work and unless your bringing a classic show car and are spending some serious money they will treat you like a second class citizen. They are great salesman and can really play of the role of being sincere and caring about there customer, but as soon as they got paid it all changed. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with, extremely disappointed. I will be in contact with the BBB and my insurance company to notify them of Custom Classic quality control and lack of customer service.

I used custom classics recently to have repair work done to my 1969 Roadrunner which was in a collision this summer. These guys did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have work done on their classic car, muscle car, hot rod, restomod, etc. A couple of key points which I want to highlight:
1. I found this shop to be completely transparent with the work that they do, how they charge for work and their overall integrity.
2. I found the owner Bryan to be very responsive and helpful. He ALWAYS returned my phone calls within 24 hours and most importantly set my expectations by never over promising anything.
3. The work that was performed was amazing and the body repair was flawless.
I should also mentioned that these guys helped me choose and implement some suspension upgrades in the process and that work turned out great too. I will say they are definitely not the cheapest solution in the Chicago area but they get the work done right and it is worth it.

I took my 2009 G8 GT to Custom Classics after several hours of researching repair facilities from Chicago to Milwaukee. I found Custom Classics on Angie’s List and did some additional research and then visited the shop for an estimate and to look at some of their work. The shop was clean and organized, the people were polite and professional so I decided to take my car for repairs to the drivers door and fender.
The work is very nice, the only reason you can tell the car was repaired is the doors have more of a mirrored finish than the remainder of the car’s factory finish. The color matches perfectly and they did a great job. I will not hesitate to take any of my vehicles for body repairs or recommend them to others.

Last year we moved 2 hours away from where we used to live. I needed to find a place to take my 69 Lincoln for repair. I found Custom Classics @ facebook. When i looked at their website i thought that maybe the only work on higher end restoration projects. When i asked if i could bring my old driver in for minor repairs they said «absolutely! bring it in».
I work out of town a lot so i don’t have a lot of time to get things done. I had my girlfriend drop the car off and when it was ready the Chicagoland area had a snow storm so i got Custom Classics to tow the car to my place because my girlfriend was worried about driving it in the snow. I paid over the phone with a credit card and the car was delivered the next day.
Great service/​reasonable rates and get this… when the guy arrived to drop the car off it wasn’t slapped on top of a rusty tow truck. It was inside a nice covered transport vehicle… but wait there’s more! My driveway hadn’t been shoveled because no one was home for a few weeks. The driver saw my girlfriend struggling with her snow shovel and he offered to finish shoveling a path to get the car in the garage for her. He actually shoved the entire driveway! Talk about customer service!
So far i haven’t set foot on their property. I haven’t met anyone there. All business was done via email and brief polite phone calls. I really can’t wait to have more work done now. Whether you need your window and gas tank repaired (me) or a full boat restoration… Do yourself a favor and contact Custom Classics.
