So where do I begin well first off I was staying at a different hotel and found this place online my fiancé and I were looking to get a couples massage I spoke with Amy and she set everything up for us… We arrived about 15 minutes early and Amy was there to greet us she gave us a tour around the property and showed us where we could have our massages done outside in the cabana or indoors we chose to do them indoors and what an amazing experience it was… My fiancé had Lynda and my therapist was Natalie and I must say both of them were amazing… Me and my fiancé walked out of there floating on a cloud it was worth every penny and next time I visit I will definitely go back… There’s a reason it’s called Island Body & Sol…

My fiancé brought me back to the Keys for my 34^th birthday. Since he is so good to me I wanted to do something special for him. I scheduled massages ON THE BEACH for us at 10am! The Island Body & Sol Spa is located at «the Moorings». This is a gorgeous property. If you get a massage here but do not stay here you will be feeling a little sad. We were led to a covered platform where 2 massage tables were set up with white privacy curtains. It was very Caribbean feeling which I loved. Natalie & Linda were our massage therapists. They were very nice. The massages however we both agreed the actual massage we very lack luster.
Key points** if you get a massage on the beach you are paying for the view and feeling of being outside to the massage.
I’m glad we did it but we will not be back. I need more umph in my massage! I’d rather pay that kind of money and be in a room than be yearning for more on an amazing beach.

I got my boyfriend and I a couples massage as a gift for all his hard work during tax season (he’s an accountant). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the staff was so friendly, professional and catered to our massage styles (I like soft light pressure, he likes deep tissue). If you’re getting a massage I don’t see why you would do it inside. Outside is the way to go ! The cool ocean breeze, sound of the waves crashing, it is just so beautiful. It was perfect.
The only thing that could’ve made this better would’ve been some champagne and being able to lounge by the ocean a little bit longer after our massage.
The Moorings (resort where the spa is located) doesn’t encourage anyone to stick around if you aren’t staying with them, but I think it would’ve been nice to just relax a little longer instead of having to hop in our car right away. — the only reason I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5.
Highly recommended, will be returning.
PS like other reviews have said this is very informal, not a fancy spa setting, there’s no sauna or steam room, more like a massage parlor. So don’t go expecting full spa services, still it was wonderful !

Set up a surprise beachfront massage for my wife and daughter who is expecting this summer. I contacted Amy, who set the whole thing up VERY discreetly and arranged it with me that they would arrive and everything else would be taken care of. The setting could not have been more beautiful and relaxing. When they were done, they made it back to the car completely relaxed and raving about how wonderful everything was. The 2 ladies who handled the massages were very professional and according to my wife the best massage ever. Highly recommend !

RUINED. I am so annoyed and disappointed at this place. They ruined my whole Mother Daughter Day that I planned. I made the reservation with Amy at Island Body & Sol Spa. She was so accommodating and nice and had a whole conversation with me (over the phone) about the Spa. She went on to state that she was amazed and surprised that her Spa was the only one in the keys that accepted Spa Finder Gift Certificates. Amy further mentioned that you can have a massage by the water and that there is a restaurant across the street. When I mentioned that I was bringing my daughter, she asked what my daughter’s age was because of issues with young teens. Amy was then fine knowing that my daughter was an adult. Amy continued on about food and weather, you thought that we were best friends. She then needed my credit card to «secure» the reservation but not to charge anything on. I then gave her my credit card number. Amy then asked what my email address was to send information and I provided her with it. Heck you would think so far so good right? Well that is way from what was about to happen. On the day of, I drove over 100 miles with my daughter to Island Body & Sol Spa anticipating a great Mother and Daughter Day with Sun, Fun, Massages and the likes. Well when I called Amy at Island Body & Sol Spa about the reservation, she had no remembrance of our conversation and did not have the appointment in the book. She was rude and talked down to me as if I was making up the whole thing. Amy went on to say that she had other functions going on and there is nothing in the books of a Spa appointment. At this point you can imagine haw furious I was. Here we are about to have a great day and Amy has no recollection of anything we had spoken about just a week prior. Amy was rude, talked down to me and clearly is unprofessional and unorganized. I will never ever go to Island Body & Sol Spa and I am going to relay this information to all my business associates. Clearly Amy’s lack of organization and professionalism is a clear reflection of the company she represents. Thanks for ruining my whole day after driving over 100 miles. No one should have to micro manage and double check constantly on a simple reservation. So are we to believe that after making a reservation at Island Body & Sol Spa we should double or triple check to remind Amy to not forget? This is ridiculous. Boy I hope that my credit card is not charged. Readers, thanks for your time in reading this and hope this helps you in the future.

We found this place on spa finder and it was amazing. We had a couples massage in the cabana on the beach and it was absolute heaven!

My husband and I both had an hour massage. Fabulous. All the girls are sweet and professional. Wonderful place to go for a relaxing and even therapeutic time. We’ll return here each time we visit the Keys for sure!
