Bill’s Bus Isla Vista

Bill’s bus is the wildest thing I’ve ever seen…
Piles of college students squashed together, standing up throughout the bus, blaring bass tunes, neon lights– sure it’s as good as the night out itself! Brilliant idea for getting to and from town safely and cheaply. I say safe, mind you, but there was one night I and a few other people managed to hoist ourselves out the emergency hatch on the back of the roof and sit up there while we were going on the freeway… so take safe with a grain of salt.
Brilliant craic.

Wednesday nights take bills bus from isla vista to old town tavern for $ 5 roundtrip!
Take the bus at 10 or 11pm to OTT and return to IV at 1 or 1:30am.
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, you can take bills bus dowtown for $ 10 roundtrip or $ 7 one-​way.
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the bus leaves IV at 9:30, 10:30, or 11:30pm. The bus returns to IV at 1 or 2am, with Thursdays leaving at an extra time of 1:30am.
Bills bus is a great way to go to where you want safely after a night of drinking. Dont drink and drive, take bills bus!
The bus can get really crowded though. Be careful of really drunk people, they tend to throw up on bills bus.
