Abhishek Decorators

I agree with a lot of other reviewers that Abhishek decorators are not worth the money. They promise you wonderful things by showing you albums of beautiful pictures, but will set up a mediocre looking mandap and reception back drop. At our event last weekend, the mandap didn’t look anything like we were promised, the color scheme was changed, and they had used cheap organza materials. The chori set in one of the corners fell on the groom (his father caught it) and the backdrop of the mandap was wobbling! This was due to poor installation and not due to wind or any other elements (the event was outdoors).
The reception back drop looked like someone had hung up door curtains! Not at all like a professional decorator’s work ! We have spent a lot of money for this package. It was really sad to see that on their wedding day, the bride and the groom were totally disappointed.
One week prior to the event, they demanded that the money be paid in full. If they don’t agree to partial refund, we are left with no alternative but to contact a lawyer for breach of contract. Their contract (invoice) and their services did not match up. I am planning to meet with them and have a discussion about these issues. Will update the review, based on the outcome of our discussions.
As of now, I would NOT recommend Abhishek decorators. There are plenty of other decorators who do a wonderful job for similar prices.

The reviews on here are very surprising! I used abhishek for my wedding on 4.23.2016. Mihir was very responsive and professional– he’s extremely knowledgable about décor, styles, flowers, arrangements, etc and really helped my family and I pick the best mandups and decorations for our ceremonies and reception! Further, everything looked perfect on the day of– I have zero complaints. Everything we asked for was included and he even threw in a few things. I’m not going to lie, this is an expensive affair– mandup for mehndi night then for the ceremony and then the reception including floral and center pieces but everything looked perfect. We got candle ombrés and cherry blossoms for our center pieces and they were absolutely beautiful. I would 100% recommend using abhishek for your wedding needs!

The worst decorator company I have ever come across! No manners of how to speak to a client! If your ever looking for a décor for ur event then go somewhere else! I assure you there are so many companies out there who will do much better job. People who works and owns this company does not have any sense of communication! Everything is a big talk with abhishek decorators!!! I called so many time asking them for a digital copy of the contact and not only they didn’t respond only phone call, but even after getting in touch with me they had such an attitude about it. I owe them money and yet I am calling them to find out the balance. That’s kinda messed up. They should be contacting me. On top of all that he is giving me an attitude of about getting an authority from in laws get a copy because they put the deposits on my behalf! That’s pretty messed up! If I had a choice I would give abhishek –1 star!!! They don’t deserve any better. Never again they will have my business or any one of my family and friends with this attitude!

I went there for my baby shower decoration. They do not have anything for Baby shower.
So save your time and do not go there. They might be good for marriage. They showed me 2 – 3 pics of Balloons. They were quoting almost double than other Balloon places for same set up.
It better to go and have your work done by many Balloon artists in the area.
One more thing, i met with one fake indian girl who has absolutely zero knowledge about Indian culture. She laughed on our face that we are going to have our own Baby shower.
FYI, It is called as God Bharai in India and parents to be invite people for the ceremony. Friends do not throw God Bharai party for mother to be.
May be she should get learn something about Indian culture before laughing on people’s faces. God save from these fake Indian people who has zero knowledge about Indian culture.

This review is long overdue. My wedding was a year ago and when I initially wrote the review my computer crashed and never went back. But I did want to say give my feedback.
I had a very good experience with them. I am forgetting the name of the gentleman I worked with, but he was a younger guy and worked with me for the vision I had for my stage and flowers. My preference was a something different than what typical Indians get and wasn’t sure if they would understand. He was knowledgable about décor/​stage decoration/​flowers. Plus he was personable. Although he couldn’t do exactly what I wanted, and because their décor is more traditional it didn’t fit my vision completely. However, I understand that most Indians want traditional look so they didn’t carry the more modern couches, sets, etc.
At the end, I was very happy with my stage & florals. They also came out beautiful in the pics (although I could have done without the old looking rug put on the stage — please get nicer rugs!). They came on time, it was done in time, and it looked lovely and no surprises with the cost. It was everything we agreed to in our consultations. The cost was competetive in comparision to other quotes I got.

I got married in March and used Abhishek based on a recommendation. I wish I never used them. Mihir is terrible to work with. He is really slippery and you need to make sure every single detail you discuss with him is written on paper. We started working with Nikhile who was great. We signed our contract with him and then never saw him again and that’s really a shame. Mihir was rude to my mom. We discussed how we wanted the centerpieces and they were done incorrectly. However– we were still charged for the things they didn’t include!!! We only discovered this right before the reception was due to start so there was no fixing it! I would not recommend using this company for your wedding. You will have enough stress– keeping on top of these guys and making sure they are setting up the way you want for your wedding day is too much added work. (and you won’t have the time either) Please go with a company that has been in the business longer and better reputation.

Although they will tell you they have a lot of services, their main focus and the reason we went to go see them was for their mandaps. They have a small warehouse with a small office area attached that people can schedule appointments to go see. We arrived on time to our appointment and were seated in the office area to take a look at their portfolios. Nikhil (who I’m assuming is either an owner or someone high up in the chain) was the one we met with. He spent about an hour with us looking through the different designs, showing us what they had up in their showroom and then putting together a quote for us. They have a lot of different options for mandaps, as well as for floral centerpieces.
Again, this was all well and good until he came out with his «final quote» for what we wanted. It was higher than all of the other mandap people we had seen (and we had met with about 7 different ones at that point). He tried to give me some sob story about how long his staff was going to be at our event and how he wasn’t going to be making any money off of our event if he did it. What added insult to injury was he recommended us just coming to get the mandap from him and putting together it ourselves. I know we said we were on a budget, but it left a sour taste in my mouth and we left shortly thereafter. If he’s price wasn’t so damn high, we may have gone with him.
