I got started in cleaning when I was looking for Part-​time work for extra money in 2001. I began cleaning two banks in the evenings and quickly determined that I was good at this.

The company I worked for as a part-​time cleaner directed me to a job opening at a company called Capital Cleaning. I got the job there as a salesperson/​account manager. They used sub-​contractors to accomplish their cleaning for their clients. This is where/​when I met Mark. Nationwide Cleaning was a subcontractor for Capital Cleaning and we began to work together in this relationship.

As I was successful in this role I was offered an opportunity to work for another local Company, Ross Maintenance, to establish the same business model with them. Their offer was good so I took the job. As I obtained work for the company I would turn to Mark Derdich and Nationwide Cleaning to be the sub-​contractor. We agree to form a new company together, Clean Solutions LLC.
