Tempo was the contractor that installed our entire 2-​unit HVAC system when we built our new home in Frisco and we could not be happier. They have ALWAYS been highly responsive to all of our needs and they are very responsible people.
Today I had the great pleasure of meeting Mike M., who is a senior service tech with Tempo and was out here for our system check up and winter maintenance. I learned more from this man and gained so much valuable information during his visit… Well I’m just in awe. Mike is a true professional and he really does care. Seriously, he really cares. He was like a pediatrician treating a child and educating the parent at the same time.
I loved how he talked about how he is going to work with me over the years to make sure everything stays in tip top condition. I also am extremely appreciative for him teaching me how to save money and how not to screw things up.
I should mention that the great experience started before meeting Mike today. Natalie R. was the customer service rep I made the appointment with and she was a delight to work with. And Jason who called to follow up in between scheduling the appointment and Mike’s visit was upbeat and courteous.

Moving into a 6-​month old home, we had a problem after just 2 weeks with the heating. The home would barely heat.
First, we went through the home warranty company. They sent overan HVAC technician from some other company who stank of cigarettes (clearly he smoked one right before stopping at our home) and whose diagnosis was «something isn’t connected right, but I don’t exactly know what.» Great, some help…
We then called Tempo Air, as they were listed on the side of the AC as having installed the unit. the technician arrived just a few hours later which is great on such short notice.
The technician was Carlos Flores and he was very helpful. He wore shoe covers upon entering our home, and immediately spotted the problem (a heating element torn out after the system was installed — probably happened after installation, and before the previous owners moved in), and went out of his way to get a replacement part that same day. He went to a new home still being built, worked with the builder to arrange the swap, and came back to fix the unit the same day.
Tempo also worked with the builder to have the repair covered under warranty.
Carlos also secured both wall thermostats more tightly, cleaned up the wiring, and fixed a leak in a duct. What a great guy, and great service.

Cain A. is an AMAZING A/​C-​Heating Tech. He knows what he is doing and is very patient in answering the questions you have for him.
He quickly resolved the issues we were having. He even noticed the vents in my children’s rooms were very noisy and made adjustments to fix the issue. I look forward to requesting Cain A. for our future Heating-​A/​C needs.

We were at our new home waiting for our furniture to arrive and on this chilly morning discovered the heat wouldn’t turn on. I called Temp A/​C and someone immediately answered the phone, and said a technician would be at our home before noon and I would get a call 30 min. prior to the tech’s arrival. Sure enough, about 2 hours I received the call that the tech was en route and he arrived ad fixed the problem within 10 min. Great! I will call Tempo A/​C again.

They come twice a year to service us and are always fabulous! Never try to up sell anything. Usually early or right on time! We always ask for Khuong Do, he is the nicest guy and best tech!

We moved into our new house earlier this summer and I noted that our AC system was installed by Tempo. I called to ask them about the previous owners and when I found out that the previous house owners hadn’t had the unit serviced in over 2 years, I decided to have Tempo come out and check up on the system. Note that it was working fine — but I am a preventive maintenance person. Besides, the deal to sign up for their bi-​annual checkup plan sounded better than having an AC system «surprise» when I needed it the most. (Most systems break when they have the heaviest load placed on them)
Khuong Do was the Tempo Service Technician who showed up ONTIME for the service appointment. Throughout the call, he was VERY courteous and helpful. I showed him the units in the attic and proceeded to ask questions, which he was very patient and thorough in explaining to me. It was a good thing I had the system checked because one of them would have put out too much carbon monoxide when the heater was on (it’s currently fall, so this would have happened in a few months from now).
When my spring service comes due, I am for sure asking Khoung.

Kendrick not only fixed the issue we were having but also was patient in explaining what the issue was and how it was fixed. He had such good customer service especially for late evening on a Friday.
The woman who I spoke to on the phone was not only pleasant to speak to but also was prompt on calling back.

Had our initial service with Khuong Do, a technician with Tempo. We have owned six homes over the last 33 years; all in Texas where AC issues are part of life. In all these years I have never encountered a Technician as thorough, professional and knowledgeable as Khuong. It is a comfort to know this vital function for our home is in such capable hands!

Randy was on time, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 3 hours of calling Tempo. Great service!

Julio was on time, diagnosed problem, had the parts on his truck, made the repair all within 30 minutes. This was after I received a quote from another Company that quoted 3 hours and a return trip to make the same repair. Julio was fantastic!

I have a service agreement with Tempo that gives me two inspections a year. They always do a thorough, professional job. Dominic was my service provider. He did an excellent job he was cordial and professional in his interactions with me and in carrying out his work. I trust Tempo to be honest with me about the condition of my units and, the need, if any, for additional service or replacement. These guys provide great service, and Dominic was no exception.

This is a great service. Vince has always been very professional and helpful. He answers any questions, is always on time and is enjoyable to be around.
