Food was pretty good but the service was horrible! At the beginning we felt we’d come back for the food, but after the really bad service we got that night, probably won’t be the first spot I choose for Mexican. I will say the price is pretty cheap though. For me and my husband it was $ 15.

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots. I have been here several times & every time I go the food is delicious. I had the Desayuno Arandas(Chilaquilles) which is corn tortillas cut, fried with red sauce poured over it with cheese & a dollop of sour cream on top, it also came with fajita steak which is full of flavor and tender and some refried beans. I absolutely love love this dish. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is the best! Their tortilla chips are wonderful. My husband loves it here as well & never complains.

I enjoy this place no matter what town I’m in in Texas. This place is usually open 24 hours but not this location. Weekend is menudo which I wait for just bout every weekend. It great sober up soup. We went on a Friday and they were doing karaōke… I don’t mind but it was way to loud. Some can sing but I don’t understand it so please don’t scream into the mic… We can hear you. The food is always great. I tried shrimp Diablo which is similar to how Asian prepare shrimp. Couldn’t go wrong since it came with rice. Definitely coming back.

No. 9 California burrito –beef burrito– is the best. Real authentic Mexican beats Tex-Mex any day of the week. Their burritos are huge. And, let’s not forget their green sauce is superb. Also, weekends they have karaōke.

Had an awesome plate of fajitas Mexicanas. Karaōke was going on and it wasn’t bad at all. Late evening eats with some entertainment, not bad at all.

Oh the food here was so bad. My husband ice teas was sour. And the food just had no taste. The music was so loud at 11:30am that the waitress even said I cant hear you over the music. So many other place in Irving that are so much better. We got the tacos that everyone raved about and like I said no taste. Salsa was so bad. I see why this place has changed hands so many times.

One of the best mexican restaurant I have been to. You see a lot«locals» here, so you know you are in the right place. Even the salsa you can tell it’s not from those supermarket stock bottles. Fajitas are great, the meat and soup is little bit salty to me but definitely within the range of perfect. Would recommend to try it out

The food was really delicious. I had the combination platter(beef) and my colleague had the chicken taco plate. It was lunchtime(around 11:30) on Wednesday 7÷8÷2015. I got home at 2 p.m. And became wracked With explosive diarrhea. It lasted for two hours. My colleague was not affected, so I chalked it up to just me; until this morning when my colleague texts me informing of their delayed chocolate fondue ass fountain. Colleague was awoken with terrible stomach pains at 1 am this morning. So, yes, it’s yummy. Just beware the fondue ass fountain that is sure to come.

Don’t be fooled by outside appearances. This place is serving it up hot, fresh and delicious! If you want to get away from typical Tex Mex and experience a little authenticity this would be your spot! The bistec tacos with corn tortillas, fresh onions and cilantro are on point! Get some of the verde hot sauce on the side but I must warn you it is fiery hot! You will only need a drop or two. I liked their fresh salsa and the chips are pretty good. The guacamole was fresh and they will give you a small bowl if you just want a side order. Best of all it’s super cheap… you and your date will leave super full for well under 15 bucks! Now that works for me… I also hear they do karaōke and they have cerzeza and margaritas! I can dig it!

This is one of my favorite places for good old-fashioned Mexican food. The best part is that you won’t break the bank in the process. The place itself isn’t all that aesthetically appealing, but the service is prompt and timely, not to mention the food is what you’re there for in the first place. I definitely recommend the grilled chicken breast(pechuga de pollo) if you are having a difficult time selecting what meat to get. The super burrito is just that, super! Everything you could possible want in an entrée is stuffed into a huge flour tortilla.

I am a huge fan of Al Pastor tacos. This place makes a legitimate Al pastor taco. Just like the Baja taco stands I grew up with. Staff is very friendly and the food is make very fast and correct everytime.

Hi! I’ve been here a few times, the service is nice and fast ;) The place may not be a luxury restaurant but the food is tasty and prepared on a traditional way(authentic). The omelets for breakfast are amazing!(you can create your own) the menu is simple and prices are just right ;)

Avoid the gorditas. Everything else I’ve tried(super burrito, nachos, street tacos, and quesadillas) have been great. Even the pastries they offer are good.

The food was pretty tasty for everyone(I ordered the grilled chicken plate) and came out fresh and quickly, which is a big plus for weekday lunches. The chips could be fresher, but they have yummy salsa to cover that up. Service was ok, orders and drinks taken quickly, but just 1 checkup after the food came out, and it wasn’t that busy. Decently priced for what you get. More authentic Mexican than the standard tex mex, though I’m not sure it is truly authentic Mexican food.

The meat tasted old, as in yesterday’s meat. Upon walking in the front I guess a red flag should’ve been the bullet hole in the front window…

We went here for lunch today while getting the car serviced at Metro Volkswagen. This place does not look like much from the outside(or inside) but it serves up some authentic, delicious Mexican food. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Nice to see Spanish and English on the menu. Clientele was a nice mix of Mexican and Texans as well. I had soft Tacos, one with beef and one with Chicken. Salsa of the table was spicy and top shelf. My wife had a ground beef and bean burrito. It was huge, fresh and tasty. I am tired of the chains that lack personality and fresh food. This place delivers on both.

Seriously folks… this Mexican restaurant has got it right ! It is a chain from Houston, but their restaurants have a local feel to it. Their orange juice is fresh … like someone had to squeeze it for you before it got on the table, with pulp and seeds etc… I have been there for breakfast /lunch and dinner. Never been disappointed. Typical Mexican fare. Cheap. Good beers. Free WiFi, just in case you need to use Google Translate to talk to the waitresses.
